My name is Melanie, I got to green hills on July 5 . They got me in a dirty room with no tv. The only good things was I got a good CNA suzette. The chair in the room was so black and dirty, I was supposed to stay there only one night, they lied to me that they didn’t have no transportation cause they wanted me to stay there so they could make money off me . I wouldn’t go back there . Someone need to go there and check the place out

Terrible, just terrible. I went there for physical therapy. They sent me home unable to walk, now they’re dragging their feet to send me a home health aide and physical therapy at home. This morning a social worker called my sister (who is on vacation) and straight lied to her. My sister was here and saw the state I’m in, so she told her where to go. I’m a ghost, baby. Time to haunt some people. Send people here if you want them to remain the same or get worse, not better.

My father is a resident there. The staff is very unprofessional and unproductive. We complain that the aide do not like my father and yet they keep the same aide in that area to mistreat my father . My father went 18 hours with out being cleaned or changed once my sister raised hell is when the tech finally changed him and his sheets which were soiled in soaked dome to the mattress. My father don’t like their food so we bring home cooked meals so he can be feed we explained that to the staff ensuring they will feed and my dad goes days without eating . The conditions there are horrible we asked for my dad’s carpet be cleaned and yet it wasn’t done . If it continues I will have my attorney request an investigation.

UPDATE: STILL AWAITING MONEY despite going directly to the nursing home last month and talking with the director. It's deeply unjust. If we didn't pay our bill, my mom would have been kicked out. They can go eight months without returning money to us and there's no penalty at all. My family is waiting on a refund of over $1,000 from a family member's stay five months ago. Over the past several months, I’ve made multiple calls to the finance department and sent emails to both finance and site leadership. We never received a clear timeline for when the refund will be issued, other than "it's coming." I’m hoping this review prompts follow-up and helps future families understand the importance of getting clear information about billing and refunds upfront. There are a handful of thoughtful aides, PT and SLP professionals that showed care toward my mother, but this delay has unfortunately left my family disappointed by the administration.

I had a very bad experience at Green Hill. I went there to recover from a broken hip. At first everything was fine. The facility is a little bit run down but the staff was very nice. I was getting PT and OT 5 days a week and was starting to recover from my broken hip surgery. However... The food was not very good and when I got diarrhea they were unable to accommodate my request for toast, bananas, tea and rice. I had diarrhea for 9 days. The staff discouraged my family from moving me to the Hospital even when my condition had deteriorated a lot. By the time I got to the hospital I was severely dehydrated with kidney damage and had an advance c diff infection which I will not recover from. I am currently receiving palliative care at Mountainside Hospital.
