Update my review is back down but one must think if you brag on anyone or anything it goes to well you know where the next minute or the next day. The washers and dryers tear up so often ppl also donate clothes so we won't stink then they have them fixed and they still sometimes go straight back down two out of four appliances at a time once all four for two or three weeks once a patient stole my new bifocals within four months of getting them if they weren't stolen they must've just got thrown into the trash by a angry person can't get a new pair for two years i dont know why some oddball did that. Then after they donated the clothing we were denied access to the donated clothes during that time when all the appliances were broken i would love to fix this part of the review yet I cannot bc even now clothes handed through donations doesn't make me not have stunk during that time being.plus they don't give them an appliance guarantee.See I had only picked on med techs and med techs only because of medications being so very important on time bc of scheduled heart meds and BP meds and mood stabilizers which i take all three.I told my own mother if i was offered denturers in the future why would I go get them for another patient to steal wear trade sell or throw away like they did my prescription glasses?!they spend to much on holiday decorations that nobody sees but us and the money could be spent on some or more soda or some deserts or more deserts all except Christmas and easter on decoration's the rest is a complete waste then we also get our fair share of tamatoe based food like at greendale like pizza and pepperoni and lasagna and the lasagna wouldn't be worth taking a Benadryl for and spaghetti which is rarely worth taking a Benadryl for sometimes then basil and plain thick tomatoe soup which Benadryl doesnt fight through to good. plus there is one or two other clients who aren't suppose to consume tomatoes either and the cornbread same yellow sweet jiffy at greendale never surprise us with a cake of white real buttermilk cornbread why haven't I moved or transfered in four years of ratings going down one snobby check practically bankrupts this place when someone wants back out to a new alf or nursing home or patient or their families. They have been letting patients stroll all over inside and out of the building for years now with urine on them to the max even in the dining during meals just like at greendale. But here of late a new patient uses the bathroom outside urinates and deficates outside and smokes in the building she also took to handling her clothes with her feces and strolling into the dining during meals I can't figure out if this place is a nursing home rest home home for the aging or a real assisted living I give up. Just noticed how charming 3 of these new reviews that are so good are bc they belong to the employees and one patient her nostril is broken or she must have chronic COVID and bad eyes for a rating of 5. I was paid our 55 dollars out of a 70 monthly allowance yesterday told to order cigarettes cigars and vapes ordered a carton of cigarettes didn't see a cigarette took off with my money now walking for a individual pack out of what is left I hate this place we received out cigarettes late Sunday after being paid and ording on Friday. Four years in greendale and four years here at grayridge village assisted living makes me ready to leave. Iam burnt out on the same food the same people and especially the same place in four years really. Has anyone ever heard a saying of you can be alone in a house full of ppl well believe it or not you can be alone in a building full of 70 or more ppl. Minor oversite we received soda later on in the month along with our monthly hamburger garlic pattyburger before our activities and appointment makers for rides went on vacation.I would still like for a desert maybe a pudding or cake or pies or cobblers or even a fruit dumplings to appear on our menu doesn't even have to be expensive can be homemade. A loud speaker here would also be nice.

So many things have changed for the best over the past 6+ months. Staff is amazing to work with. The team works hard to care for the residents. The residents and workers love and consider each other family.

Some changed for the better and some for the worse still need more mature staff especially ppl who take their jobs seriously on medicines and time and routine

Meds here have been being 1-3 hours late for the last two or three weeks plug in sparks fly off with fire in room 29 over my bed so I don't use the plug in. The food is better here then most places it's cleaner yet the amount of food is less and this place can't make up it's mind on what it wants to be a nursing home or home for the aged or assisted living our doors are unsecure here right down to one being plexiglass and the dining room being unwelded they first tell you to keep your side of the room neat and tidy then won't let you use the broom/mop cart bc of cognitive ppl
