Our Mom lived in the Assisted Living wing of Good Sam's for almost five years until she passed away in December. My sister looked at many Assisted Living facilities before deciding on Good Sam's and we are so happy that she did. Some of those facilities were newer and fancier (and more expensive) but she immediately received a welcoming, warm family feeling when she toured Good Sam's and talked to the staff. Emily Bloom Cortez, the Senior Living Director and her staff took such good care of our Mom. We never had to worry about her. They are kind, warm and helpful. They were great about inviting her to participate in activities and checking in on her several times a day including during the night. They were always available and willing to talk to her family which was so helpful to us and to our Mom. They went above and beyond to help her even when she was being stubborn and difficult. They were also excellent about communicating with us when Mom had a medical issue. Mom loved the staff, the residents and her apartment and it truly became home for her. Thank you, Emily and staff for working hard to make Mom's last five years safe, healthy, comfortable and enjoyable.

I broke both legs, had surgery and went to a different rehab for 3 months, got an infection, had second surgery in Oct 2025. Was admitted to Good Sam Fort Collins Co. I can't possibly say enough good things about this facility. Nursing staff is professional, and loving. PT, OT is outstanding. They do a care conference every week, all team members attend. You get to be an active part in your care. They go over any changes to your care. They listen to your concerns. I was admitted Oct 14, 2025 and Discharged 11/16/25, in that short time Nursing, PT, OT. Dietary, Social Workers got me up and walking (with a Walker), and ready to go home. If you are looking for an A+ rehab this is the place for you. There are only 6 Rehab beds, so you receive personalized care. Linda Holland

I had a loved one here in the assisted living wing of the building for a little over a year and he received excellent care. I toured many places but settled on Good Sam for a couple reasons, one being relative affordability compared to others and the other being that I heard their PT team was unrivaled, and we indeed experienced that to be the case.  Good Sam Fort Collins is an older building so there were sometimes wi-fi frustrations, and it doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles compared to many of the fancier places (you are definitely paying a premium for that), but the "heart" is there, and when he really needed help, they were always there for him. Emily Bloom-Cortez, who is the Senior Living Director, is very sweet and she leads a team of dedicated and kind workers. It has a family feel rather than a corporate feel, and if he needed help, he just pushed his lanyard button and someone came right away. I have heard horror stories of other places where people push their call button and wait up for an hour or more. I also appreciated that I could always reach an actual person in the actual facility if I needed to call for any reason. Some other places I looked into went to some corporate dispatch office or voicemail instead of the local facility itself. At Good Sam we knew the name of everyone who worked there. That smaller feel worked well for us.

I feel so blessed that my 91 year young mom lives in Independent Living at Good Samaritan Village in Fort Collins. The staff has become part of our extended family. Good Samaritan is a caring and loving community. My mother enjoys the company of her neighbors and actively participates in many activities. She loves her independence and I love her living only five minutes away. I have peace of mind knowing that the staff keeps careful watch over all their residents. This has been especially comforting during this pandemic. As I said, I am blessed that my mom resides at Good Samaritan Village in Fort Collins.

My Mother has been a resident at Good Samaritan Village in Fort Collins for several years. She has found the care and compassion given to her exceeding what she received at other retirement communities she tried before moving here. Unfortunately, my husband and I do not live in Colorado, however, Good Samaritan has been excellent in making sure her transportation needs etc. are met. The food is good, and has a good variety. The staff is helpful and kind. She has said this is her home and she enjoys it. We are comfortable is having her living there even amid the Covid 19 in the country, this facility has been able to maintain ZERO cases. Good job!!
