I have been in both the nursing home and the assisted living area. This facility appears and smells clean. I was impressed. All the people I’ve interacted with have been very kind and helpful Especially Robin in the marketing office has gone out of her way to help us get things arranged for my mom to move into the assisted-living apartments. They really treat people with dignity and kindness.

My dad was a resident there for 10 months & I felt the staff were very rude & my dad was not taken care of properly. He was placed on hospice care & while on it my sister & I stayed with him & the staff was very heartless. When they entered the room to do anything they wouldn’t even acknowledge us. We were going through one of the hardest things we’ve had to go through & for them to be so unsympathetic made me sick. We finally talked to the DON about the customer service & it did improve but it shouldn’t have had to come to that. They did have a few good nurses but the majority of them shouldn’t be in the nursing profession in my opinion

Our mother/grandmother was a resident at Good Samaritan facilities for almost 8 years, first for rehab after surgery, then assisted living, and finally full care. We have been extremely pleased with the lovely facilities and amazing staff. From the social worker to the caregivers and everyone in between, they have all been wonderful! They made her transitions easier than we could have hoped for. She was at Good Sam for almost 2 years. During that time she repeatedly told us how comfortable she was in her living situation, and how much she loved her caregivers. What more could we have asked for?!! We knew she was not only getting excellent care, but they were going the extra mile and making her feel loved. Mom/Grandma recently passed away just a few hours before her 100th birthday. (Everyone knew she was looking forward to going home to be with Jesus, so it was the best birthday present ever!) It was so comforting and encouraging to see the tender, loving care the staff gave her in her last days (as they had all along). They comforted and encouraged us as well as we said our last goodbyes, and we could not be more grateful for their love and support. We would highly recommend Good Sam in Beatrice. They were the ideal situation for our whole family, and we can never thank them enough.

My mother recently became a resident of the Good Samaritan facility and it is such a great place. The staff treats her with so much love and respect. We visit using the technology available at the facility and can call virtually anytime to see how she is doing or feeling. The staff keeps us updated with progress and truly cares about mom. It is so comforting to know she is home and is taken care of like she deserves in such a beautiful place. Thank you Good Sam!
