Only the extreme minimum of care. Not to interested in what the individual wants. It's more about what kind of effort the worker might feel like putting out for the day. If a resident has a diagnosis that presents unsavory behaviors beyond their control do not expect anything more than extreme minimum of care. Can't expect anyone to care too much there. Major disappointment.

my grandma was a beautiful, loving person her entire life. she lived out her last days here, surrounded by love. i remember when i first entered this facility, i immediately felt warmth and positivity. you are all angels, those of you that work here, and I am so thankful that my grandma shirley passed surrounded by such loving, kindhearted, tender caregivers. thank you to the nurses and the doctor for everything that you provided.

I am so pleased with the care that you give Dad! I especially love to hear that Sherry Davis, and others, sing to him and he responds sometimes by singing with them. You Are My Sunshine and My Darling Clementine seem to be favorites. As I sit with him, I hear the CNA's/Nurses interacting with others down the hall with a smile in their voices. It takes a special person to do the job they do and The Good Neighbor Home employs the best.

Our mother was a resident here starting at the Meadows and eventually The Good Neighbor Home and finally at Marietta's. I don't have the exact dates handy but I believe it spanned 5+ years. Her final week was in Hospice Care there, and we feel so blessed to have had that extra special touch that comes with being surrounded by people that knew her and had cared for her. Each transition was fairly smooth. A faith based care facility is so important to us. It will always be my #1 "go to" for care.
