My mother-in-law moved in just over a month ago. This had all the makings of a terribly challenging move for a 96 year old recovering from hip and shoulder fractures. She moved from a different independent living facility to Assisted Living at Golden Pond - spending over two weeks in a studio apartment and then moving into an available one bed-room. Sounds like a lot, doesn't it? Well, it was. And since Day 1 (and actually before Day 1 with great communication and support at the end of her rehab stay), the staff made these transitions so pleasant. From dropping by to meet her in the days after she arrived, to bringing meals to her apartment, to cheering her on in the hallways, to helping set up her studio and then her apartment -- the staff showed up in small and large ways. I could keep on gushing. Golden Pond has helped my mother-in-law feel at home in record time during such a difficult time. What a gift.

When our family realized my dad needed assisted living, we knew it was going to be one of the hardest transitions of his life. From the beginning, the team at Golden Pond made that process feel much less overwhelming. More recently, as his dementia progressed and he moved into memory care, they approached that transition with the same compassion and thoughtfulness.<br><br>What has impressed us most is the genuine sense of community. The staff know the residents by name, take the time to build relationships and create an environment that feels welcoming rather than institutional. It's clear they care about the people who live there.<br><br>The caretaking team has been patient, kind and attentive as my dad's needs have changed. Whenever we've had questions or concerns, they've been responsive and willing to work with us.<br><br>One thing that has really stood out is their flexibility. As my dad's needs evolved, they didn't treat the move from assisted living to memory care as simply a change of location. They worked with us to find the right approach for him, helping make what could have been a very difficult transition feel seamless.<br><br>Choosing an assisted living community is never an easy decision, but Golden Pond has given us confidence that my dad is in a place where he's cared for, respected and part of a real community. We're thankful for everything they've done for him and for our family.

My mother spent just about a year in a one-bedroom apartment in the independent living section of Golden Pond. It was a wonderful place for her. The setting is beautiful, with views of the foothills of the Rockies from the windows. The staff are wonderful: professional, helpful, and caring. The food is good, and the price is reasonable. The apartment itself was spacious and well-equipped. I would definitely recommend Golden Pond for anybody looking for a senior living facility.

The staff here have always been so attentive and helpful for the residents as well as the family. They offer so many resources to assist, and have lots of fun activities and celebrations. Memory Care has fabulous staff and activities for specific for the residents. Somehow they all work together and make a difficult situation so much better. Worth the extra money for your loved ones, I highly recommend.
