I thought that I didn’t like this place, but I found out that if I won the lottery, I would be back there in a heartbeat. Ok. So it’s not like home. I think that was my problem. The place does have amazing views. Activities are varied and great. Malea does a fantastic job. There’s some sort of activity outside (a trip to a museum or a wooden puzzle factory, or a tea company.<br>The person at the front desk knows everything that’s happening and answer any question one might have. The meals are good and on time. The staff is always willing to help.<br>And happy hour really is happy hour. (Not sweets and punch). There’s a monthly resident council meeting to address concerns. And there’s one for families also.<br>Holidays are celebrated with families.<br>I got transferred to an assisted living place in Idaho and believe me. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.<br>So Golden Lodge carry on. I made valuable friends there whom I miss a great deal. Where I am now the people are mainly to themselves. I really miss Colorado too. Thank you Sarah and Heather for all you did for me.
