I thought that I didn’t like this place, but I found out that if I won the lottery, I would be back there in a heartbeat. Ok. So it’s not like home. I think that was my problem. The place does have amazing views. Activities are varied and great. Malea does a fantastic job. There’s some sort of activity outside (a trip to a museum or a wooden puzzle factory, or a tea company.<br>The person at the front desk knows everything that’s happening and answer any question one might have. The meals are good and on time. The staff is always willing to help.<br>And happy hour really is happy hour. (Not sweets and punch). There’s a monthly resident council meeting to address concerns. And there’s one for families also.<br>Holidays are celebrated with families.<br>I got transferred to an assisted living place in Idaho and believe me. You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.<br>So Golden Lodge carry on. I made valuable friends there whom I miss a great deal. Where I am now the people are mainly to themselves. I really miss Colorado too. Thank you Sarah and Heather for all you did for me.

“Everyone knows your name”. The staff is kind and helpful. Friendly people. Good food. Beautiful rural view. Coordinate well with other care and transportation providers. Dewey and Heather were on hand to provide answers and directions to resources. Would recommend for your parents

I recently toured Golden Lodge and was impressed not only with the view but also with the staff. The facility looked just as nice on the inside. I really like that they offered respite care, which is what we were looking at for my father in-law. I liked that their prices included care as well as room and board.

Sent a birthday gift basket to a resident it was delivered and signed for by an office person confirmed. It went missing .This is theft.The staff could careless less and I was told someone would call me about it and noone has called or cared that Our resident didnt get their Birthday gift and that I am out money and have stress about what else has went missing and which staff member is stealing from residents.<br>There have been several problems with this facility<br>I personally am filing a police report for theft as I have the name of the employee that signed the delivery slip and there has been no accountability
