My mom has been a resident at Glenn Carr House for a few weeks. Within this short time, everyone, by everyone, I mean ALL staff has been nothing short of amazing to my mom and to us, her family. Every question gets answered. Every request has been done. The staff is welcoming, kind, and nurturing to residents. It has been the best decision we could have made when choosing a place for my mom.<br>When a family has to make the decision to have a loved one taken care of, you never know what you might run into to. I can honestly say, God was looking out for us because this is the perfect place for her!<br>We can rest easy knowing when we are not around, they are taking excellent care of my mom. It's such a relief. Her room is cleaned every day. They ensure her laundry is done, her needs are met, and take the time to actually visit with her and make her feel safe. WOW! That is what it's all about.<br>I appreciate the staff and the family atmosphere at Glen Carr House. We are blessed. I would highly recommend this for a loved one if you are searching for a top-notch facility.

this place and there staff steal medical supplies for patients, they steal the residents clothes, wipes diapers, bedding then tell the family they don't know what happened to it all. bought wipes and gloves diapers for step dad, 2 days laters there calling saying he's out of everything, his name was on everything, they stole his clothes bedding, i would NOT recommend this place. They stole a brand new walker as well, his name was all over it as well. They have very sticky fingers.

My mother in law lived here for a few years. Most of the time she was well taken care of, but In her last year or so they dropped her when using a lift to transfer her from her bed to wheelchair

Strictly accounting issue: My mother's estate is due a refund and I was told it would take up to 90 days to receive it. It has been 133 days and numerous phone calls and emails and still no refund. The accounting office has told me three different occasions the check is in the mail. Still no check. Very disappointed with how the accounting office is handling the situation. Very frustrating!

Both of my parents have been residents of Glen Carr House in Derby. They are cared for by caring, compassionate, loving staff. The facility is clean, comfortable, and has a homey feeling. The activities the staff provide are enjoyable. The staff have become additional members of our family because they not only take care of my parents, but of me too with their hugs and smiles.
