Moving a loved one into assisted living is not an easy decision but my sister and I knew it was the best thing we could do for our brother. He needed a stable living situation and more care than we could provide. We wanted him to be safe in case anything happened to us. After a thorough search we were pleased to find Gardens of Venice. The facility is super clean, the food is good and the living units are spacious and well planned.
Last year my brother had a medical emergency. I had a difficult time getting answers from management. I felt like I was simply an inconvenience to be dealt with.
Fast forward to a year later-on my recent trip there is a noticeable difference. The residents are happier. The major change is the management team. They listened to me, valued my input about my brother and truly care about him as a person.
Last year-impatient and condescending
This year-compassionate and caring
It is comforting to know that my brother is in a good place-physically, emotionally and mentally. Thank you
