Staff us always very helpful & courteous. My relative has been there at least 5 years. I try to visit him as often as I can. The nurses and day staff are very professional. Whenever I bring issues to their attention they take care of it. Paula, Elsa, Angelica and few others that I have interacted with are very caring and friendly. I appreciate the care they give. They bring to my attention any changes or issues about my relative. I don’t know anything about the night staff so I can’t comment on them. I pray they are as caring as the staff that’s there during the day. Also the facility is always clean and patients seem to be pretty well groomed. I appreciate the emails that keep me informed about Covid issues within the facility and visitation rules. Honestly I have been to other facilities that were much worse. I’m thankful my relative is here. No place will be perfect. It’s the responsibility of family members & friends to check in on their loved ones to make sure they are receiving the care they need. If not they need to report it.

I am more than pleased with the assistance my mother had in her stay everyone was so kind and caring and did everything to make her feel comfortable they're so helpful, each and everyone that my mother came across with. The morning staff is the best. Thank you GARDENA CONVALECSENT. I gladly recommend them.

My brother is residing in the Gardena Convalescent home. When I entered the placement I was met with a smile and the posture of the staff was very pleasant. I found the home to be clean and not smelly. The staff were nice and receptive to a number of ask related to patient services and care. The staff accomodated my brother's needs and my request as a visitor.

Thank you very much to all the nurses and employees for providing all the medical needs to my husband during his stay. Especially the cleaning crew and the physical therapy crew. Everyone been friendly, encouraging, and always on top on things. Any helps that my husband needed. They always provide with much care. My family and I forever grateful. Thanks again everyone for all the helps, friendly, and always encourages us.

Had opportunity to coordinate having a group of students/Girl Scouts from our community of Gardena to lead some activities for the residents. It was a great experience for EVERYONE! Staff was welcoming and caring.
