DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONES HERE!!! (Long post) I was only a patient here for a week and a few things happened that I do not want others to experience. First off, I got a bed sore on my coccyx. I had it for three days before I got transferred back to the hospital. During those three days, they did nothing. No wound care, no informing me to turn on my side every two hours (I'm bed bound)...NOTHING! The bed sore is currently healing but in the process, I have a medium size hole in my coccyx. Then the charge nurse named Jennifer (asian woman) was to mean to me for no reason. One night I ordered some food and asked for some insulin and she denied me! My sugars were high that night smh. Btw, the food is horrible. They gave me spoiled milk once and when I asked for new milk, that milk was on its way to being spoiled. Oh and the alternative food if you didn't want too eat the main meals were very limited. Most of the time, I ate cereal or cheese quesadilla. Back to Jennifer. I had a sliding door in my room and always kept it open for fresh air. She would make it her mission to come in my room and slam the door. When I asked why she was doing that, she made up a fake policy/reason. When I asked the other nurses and CNAs, they didn't know what she was talking about. Another time, the CNAs left me in the hallway in my wheelchair after being in my room setting up to get me in bed. I was sleepy and waiting but they left to go help other. When I went to go complain, I went looking for the charge nurse and I found out it was Jennifer. She told me to wait because they were coming after helping everyone else. I was waiting so long, I fell asleep in my chair. I had to call them again by pushing the button and they finally came smh. A few other things happened but don't come here if you love your family. I was there for a week and now I traumatized of SNF. Skilled nursing facilities.

SCAM ALERT! Although the care here is Awesome you have to constantly be on them to get anything done. The CNAs are excellent! The hallways also REEK of urine.one thing you have to keep an eye on is your insurance. While my Mother was only there for two weeks for Physical therapy after knee replacement surgery,, someone on staff without our consent (fraudulently)signed my mother up for a prescription program called wellcare and by doing so automatically knocked her off her insurance with alignment healthcare, It's been a nightmare trying to get her back on and I also requested Medicare run an investigation on their actions. My advice is DON'T PLACE YOUR LOVED ONE'S HERE!

We are beyond thankful for Garden View Post Acute. The nurses treated my grandpa like family and showed so much compassion every day. Dr. Singh was attentive and kind, always making sure he was comfortable. The facility is spotless, the staff is caring, and Miriam, the Activities Director, brings so much joy to the residents. Our family will always be grateful for the love and support we felt while he was there.
