Sorry to say that we had a horrible experience here with my mother-in-law. It was made extremely clear to us that the staff want to heavily medicate memory care patients so they will be less active. This lowers the quality of life, but makes them easier to manage throughout the day. Perhaps this is because they are understaffed... She went in for "respite care" as we were determining the next course of action for a long term facility. We decided that the focus on heavy medication in addition to an altercation with another resident were strong reasons for her not to stay. Hopefully things improve.
