Went to visit a family member and it smelled nice. Not like most nursing homes. Staff was kind and friendly. She had an amazing CNA Delana that was taking care of her that day. The room was nice and clean.

New management has done really well. My granddaddy has been there almost a year and we have seen a huge change. The past couple of months when we go visit the smell and cleanliness has improved as well. The wound care nurse has done a very good job as well.

Our family has been very happy with the level of care, professionalism, courtesy, and dedication that the staff at Franklin Nursing has shown, not just for my grandparents, but for us as well. They made sure to explain everything thoroughly, invited us to engage with the staff and make recommendations that would make my grandparents more comfortable, worked with us on difficult choices regarding level of care, and have kept us informed with their progress and any incidents. The facility is also in progress of a full renovation, room by room, and it is very well maintained. There are plenty of activities for residents that get them out and encourage them to be social, and the food is quite good! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for a safe and comfortable place for their family members in need of care.

I am currently a resident and consider it my home. Although I say four stars, it is because I consider everything has room to improve and this gives that opportunity to fix whatever might need a tweak. I am grateful to have such a caring facility in my hometown. In my opinion they go out of their way to keep us happy and feeling well . We have a wonderful Activities leader who keeps us busy every day with games and crafts. We have birthday parties and other events of the season. Also a visit from the bookmobile for those who love reading. Nursing staff are some of the best in Kentucky, with several having devoted their lives to decades of nursing care. CNAs are sweet, fun and attentive. The Hospitality girls are cheerful and polite. The Therapists are dedicated to their job and help those who need rehab to improve their moving and to give instruction on exercises and use of wheelchairs or other tools for mobility. Wound care is the best in the area, healing is truly addressed to the wounds in care and I am truly blessed to be under their care. The kitchen staff are excellent, serving some of the best high quality meals available. Meatloaf, fish, swedish meatballs, roasted pork on bread with gravy on top to name a few. If something isn't liked, they will replace it with your choice or at least a soup and sandwich. It is rare that something is wrong but if they know they will fix it. People are friendly and courteous. They could use more help in janitor cleaning staff and also with laundry. Sometimes things get mislaid and we don't get stuff back from laundry but they are fixing new labels so that should help. Weekends are low staffed and times are slower between calls for CNA help but that is understandable, maybe a couple workers more on each wing could help fix that slow response time. The social worker and other administrative staff are friendly and try to help if any issue comes up. I know that a few things came up that I needed the social worker's help and she was understanding and solved the issue. Best of all I have friends here and we also have a Sunday service which is a blessing. I go by Jerri here. I am posting a picture of the room opposite mine which has been under renovation. It shows a new flooring. The grey tiles of the hall was what were in the rooms. There are no wooden floors anywhere in this facility, regardless of what another person posted. They have been renovating rooms here for several months so things are more up to date and safer for residents and staff.

We stayed here 5 days and left! This place is a joke, first they put my husband in a dirty nasty room wasn’t even ready for him took hours to get someone to come talk to us day after day he was neglected not fed right or even turned !! He was made sit in his own body fluids for 3-4 hours without being checked on and he had a fever of 101.5 and they had no idea !! We took him outta there never again! And shame on the state they know what’s going on in there !! And I won’t share the photos of his soiled briefs which I have several and his peg tube not being clean d cause it’s a bit much !! Get your people outta there !!
