Forest Oaks rehabilitation center is a beautiful cozy community? The way in a cozy location in Albemarle North Carolina. The people here are wonderful. The energy is great here. I would recommend this facility to everyone

I would like to send out a very heartfelt thank you to the ladies at ForestOakes!! I would like to say Angela Ridenhour you are the best. I felt so reassured when I would reach out to you about my father’s care. You were there day and night to answer my call or be a shoulder to lean or cry on. You my dear go above and beyond and are the heart and soul of this facility. Next I would like to do a special shout out to nurse Catherine for doing all you do and keeping me well informed of my dad’s care at all times. You my dear rock. Angela in transportation you are also excellent in the position you hold along with Howard. Thank you both. Jamie and Michelle thank you so much for the work that you put in with my father you both are also excellent in your positions. He has came a long way and I give you all the credit !!! Last but not least all the staff that worked with my father I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. You all do an amazing job!!!

This place opened there doors to get my dad out of a bad situation Dawn Williams made this move so easy and smooth and was there for me every step of the way make me feel so good about my decision Patrick knew me by name b4 we ever met and that was memorable always so nice to me and my dad and quick to fix any issue (very minor) and with a cheerful voice/tone Anne called my dad her buddy alway called me to tell me any news and truly understood his situation as no fault of his own my dad loved this place and so did I always smelled clean looked clean and employees didn't look miserable they looked pretty happy to be at work and that speaks volumes if I had to do it all over again I would in a heartbeat hands down my father past away this morning and when I got home I had these beautiful flowers on my door step and this ment the world to me that my dad wasn't just a number or a paycheck he was a friend family part of the forest oak clan thank you to all the staff and employees even down to the door greeter for all that you did and continue to do for the other residents

I entered Forrest Oakes Healthcare Center from Atrium Health Stanly after having a major and life saving surgery. I couldn’t get up on my own and was very dependent on the staff. I can say that most of the staff were always helpful and nice. I only had one staff member who actually showed disrespect because I asked them to do something that was so simple and I couldn’t do it myself. There should be enough staff members to have more than one person to a hall. People can only be in one place at a time. These CNA’s work hard. There were 4 young CNA’s who I observed working very hard. I can remember Nichole and Valeria were awesome and some I can’t remember their names and they worked night shift. The ladies who worked the cart and handed out medicine were always very polite. I had a wound vac and the 2 nurses who cleaned and changed my wound were fantastic. Catherine and Donna were very polite, friendly and amazing. The ladies in Rehabilitation Therapy were awesome!! They worked with us to help us achieve our goals and expectations. Sorry but most of the meals were cold when we received them. Even though they were cold, most of the meals were good. We had to ask for coffee and didn’t get it on the trays. Housekeeping kept the floors clean and shining. Harold was careful when taking us to our appointments. If I would ever have to go to a nursing home or rehabilitation center I would want to come back there. Employees, please speak to the patients in a kind manner. Treat them as you would want someone to treat your parents/ family.

I have worked with many DONs but I cannot fail to mention the DON at Forrest Oaks who goes above and beyond to ensure that her staff are taken care of but most importantly the residents are always put first and that their care is a priority. There’s never been a time that I was there where she did not make herself available.
