We hired this caregiving company to provide in-home care for my father-in-law, including paid medication management services. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing and concerning. The assigned caregiver repeatedly failed to perform expected duties. On multiple occasions, the caregiver slept in a chair or sat drinking my father-in-law’s coffee while he was sleeping, rather than actively providing care. Most concerning was the failure to properly manage medications, despite us paying extra specifically for this service. We discovered errors weekly and had to repeatedly intervene to correct medication setup ourselves. In addition, basic household support was not maintained. The condition of the home deteriorated to the point that we had to independently hire a professional cleaning service, particularly due to unsanitary conditions in the kitchen and bathroom. We were paying $42 per hour for services that were not being delivered at an acceptable or safe standard. Due to these ongoing issues, we terminated services. Despite the company no longer providing care for over a month, unauthorized payments have continued to be withdrawn from my father-in-law’s account, which has added further stress and concern. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. Reliable care, proper oversight, and financial accountability are critical when entrusting a loved one’s well-being to a caregiving agency, and unfortunately those standards were not met in our case.
