Such an amazing staff. It’s so heartwarming to see all the residents so happy and participating in all the activities they have for them. They go above and beyond to assist everyone’s needs and are always asking what changes they can make to make it better , and I honestly can’t think of one. Thank you FCNR!

I love the connection I get to make with residents and their loved ones. Hearing their stories and sharing daily conversations. It's like a second home.

My great-grandfather was admitted to this nursing home about two weeks ago, and our family was very disappointed and heartbroken by the care he received. He went in healthy and alert for a 96-year-old man, but during his time there we saw several issues that deeply concerned us. He was often heavily medicated to the point where he slept almost constantly and became too weak to eat, drink, or move normally. We also noticed that his mouth was not being cleaned or swabbed, and by the time we visited late one night, he had so much buildup in his mouth that he was struggling to breathe. When we asked staff for swabs, they didn’t seem to know where they were. There were also safety and privacy concerns. He fell in his room and injured himself (no idea where staff was or if they were even monitoring him), and the bathroom setup had only a curtain instead of a door, which didn’t provide any real privacy. Our family feels that the level of supervision and basic care he received was far below what we expected and needed. Sadly, his health declined rapidly while he was there, and he passed away shortly afterward. This experience was devastating for us, and I hope sharing it encourages other families to ask questions and pay close attention when considering this facility.

My wife and I had arrived at this facility for the first time a few days ago. We were attending a birthday party for one of our dearest friends and we both relayed to each other how nice we found this facility. It gave a very cheerful impression, and the entire location was very clean as well. I believe Richardson County is fortunate to have this nursing and support residence available for those who need this type of location. All the best to the staff and its residents.
