Vastly ill prepared. As an end of life business, they do not appear to have protocols in place. We requested Last Rites and the staff simply started to Google options. When they couldn't find anything, they simply drove away and left us to figure it out. After death, the 1 person who showed up did not have the supplies necessary to clean our loved one. They asked us for wipes and a garbage bag. Then, they couldn't properly dress our loved one so they draped the jacket over him. This company does not communicate and lacks sufficient skills to do the most foundational tasks to aid in hospice care.

If you care about your loved ones do not use this company. They were unprofessional, uncommunicative, and had zero empathy. The intake nurse couldn't get my father's name correct even after spending hours with us. If you are part of a business where you are helping families deal with the end of their loved ones life, you would think empathy would be a given. That is not the case with Envision. After my father passed we didn't receive one phone call or follow up until over 2 weeks later we received a typed out 2 sentence letter saying sorry for our loss. That's it. I will never recommend them to anyone and will never forgive them for making the worst time of my life even harder.

Our family was referred to Envision Healthcare At Home for our father who was terminally ill and wanted to pursue death with dignity. Due to his deteriorating health time was of the essence to avoid a prolonged suffering. The intake worker facilitated a masterful plan, with many moving parts, to ensure my dad's care was transferred from one entity to another and all requirements were met. The team was responsive, persistent, skillful, and compassionate. They took my calls every time I reached out and communicated to me as the integral part of our family's plan that they were. Nurses were educational, skillful, loving, and respectful. They covered every area of need and soothed all of our concerns. Our social worker was available and present for our needs and our father's. She comforted us and guided us in our processing thoughts as well as self care. My dad had a seamless and peaceful death. I highly recommend Envision Healthcare At Home. I will forever be grateful to them.
