My mom, CeCe Basilius, had many rehab/therapy stays at Eden Valley over the past 7~8 years. Each time she would end up in the hospital she would request to be in rehab there if they had an opening as she liked the staff & the physical therapists so much. I always felt when she was there she was getting the best care that Monterey County had to offer (& believe me she had been in a number of other places throughout the years). Most of the time she even had her own room with a huge flat screen TV too.

After my grandmother experienced two falls, she was admitted to the short-term rehabilitation unit at Eden Valley Care Center for physical therapy, and I’d like to share our experience there.<br><br>From the beginning of her stay, our experience was marked by professionalism, compassion, and attentive care from several outstanding staff members who made a meaningful difference during a challenging time for our family.<br><br>Violet, the charge nurse who handled my grandmother’s admission, was consistently kind, reassuring, and supportive, helping ease the transition into care. Nancy in management was responsive and proactive when I raised a concern, addressing the matter promptly and professionally, which I greatly appreciated.<br><br>Sheila, a CNA, stood out in particular for her exceptional patient care. While all staff we encountered were respectful and kind, she demonstrated a natural ability to connect with patients, showing consistent warmth, attentiveness, and dignity in her work.<br><br>Blaza was always helpful in responding to our family’s questions and provided clear, thoughtful communication throughout the stay. Erica in admissions was also compassionate and professional, ensuring a smooth and welcoming admission process.<br><br>I would also like to acknowledge Paul, the physical therapist, who truly went above and beyond his role. In addition to providing excellent rehabilitation support, he stepped in to help when we needed guidance from social services, ensuring our concerns were addressed and we received the assistance we needed.<br><br>Overall, Eden Valley Care Center is, in our experience, one of the stronger skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in Monterey County. While there is always room for continued improvement and consistency across all areas, the dedication and compassion shown by many team members made a deeply positive impact on our grandmother’s recovery and our family’s peace of mind.<br><br>We are sincerely grateful to everyone who contributed to her care. May God continue to bless each staff member, their families, and the work they do in serving others with compassion and dignity.

100% recommend!!! All of the staff was nice and professional. They work as a team to ensure you are safe and cared for. I had back surgery and needed extended care after.....around the clock IV antibiotics. Not only my care but how they cared for others. All on a high professional level. Letting patients hangout with them in the nursing station so they fealt better...less alone/scared. Always down to help and trafe smiles. Good meals. Nice clean building. Great outside area. If you or your family need help threw a tough time. Give Eden Valley your trust. And they will try 110% to do their best. Much love to my friends there. Thank you!!!

My father has been at Eden Valley a month so far, and nothing but good things to say about their staff, the facility, and the organization. Professionally run, caring people, very impressive. Highly recommended.
