Our Mom with memory issues was provided care that supported dignity, individuality, humor, comfort, and joy. We were so grateful for every staff member. We loved the privacy that the apartments provided even while in memory care. 🙏

My mother had been a resident here for approximately 3 years. I recently had her moved to a memory care unit as she was not getting the care she needed living in Assisted living nor was she being evaluated on a regular basis. I had to hire a PCA to come do the tasks that I was paying for but not getting. Like washing clothes, helping with showers, housekeeping. It was an excellent place for my mother to begin with but it has turned into a revolving door for employees. A lack of professionalism. Someone also stole my mother's CC and tried to commit fraud about a year and a half ago. When moving my mother to the new memory care they told the potential new resident director that my mother only ate pureed food. The new director told me they couldn't take my mother if this was true. It was not. It was a lie. They wanted to keep my mother because we were paying out of pocket. For a non profit they sure behave greedily. But I did move my mother to memory care where she is getting better care. And I feel better about her move.

My mother has been at Lakeview Commons Maplewood for 4 years. I can’t say enough about the wonderful care she has received. During the time of COVID staff went over and above by making sure my mom was well cared for in my absence, taking care of all the things I took care of. The staff takes the time to get to know her personal likes and dislikes and personality traits and are happy to accommodate her personal preferences down to the smallest of details. Nursing, activities, and.administration are all very responsive to my calls and concerns. I highly recommend this facility. The front desk staff know me and greet me by name when I visit. My mom frequently tells me that she likes her place, and she also frequently tells me she likes the food.

My MIL has been at Ecumen for over 2 years now. She actually used to volunteer there years ago. Over the years we have been very impressed. The staff is thoughtful, caring, and creative with entertainment opportunities and programs and outings. I definitely feel that this is the best assisted living/memory care facility out there.

My Mom has lived at Ecumen Lakeview Commons in memory care for just shy of 5 years. The place is wonderful! The staff care for my Mom as if she is family; seems to me that my Mom has a smile on her face more often than not.
