My mom spent 2 weeks at East Cobb Center for Nursing and Healing. While the facility is older and not glamorous, the staff were amazing. They are bright, friendly and treat the people in their care with warmth and respect. Be patient as you figure out the rhythm of care and understand good staff are hard to find. Simone, Michelle, Dee and too many others to name are special people doing important work.

My father has dementia and has developed a bad staph infection. The long hospital stay left him significantly weakened. After recovering in the hospital, we had to find someplace where he could further recover and get back up on his feet. We looked at several places and toured about 5 of them. Most of them were truly HORRIFYING how bad they were. But East Cobb was clean, well lit, full of family members who were clearly very involved in their loved one's recovery, and the staff was friendly and engaged. Their rigorous PR schedule (twice a day 5 days a week) plus social events and 3+ showers a week for residents were big selling points. They have a beautiful outdoor garden patio where residents can go for some fresh air and sunshine. They have exercise rooms, daily recreational activities, movies, a games room, chair yoga and many other things. Most rooms are semiprivate, but each resident has their own TV screen on an articulated arm with touch screen controls. All rooms have a bathroom. The place SMELLS clean, and looks clean. The nurses are very active and involved. Always checking on us. Meals can be taken in the room or in the dining hall. Only been here a few days, but I have to say, I'm very impressed.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about East Cobb Rehab. My dad was in there for almost a month and he was very well taken care of by all of the staff. I was there everyday and night and I met fabulous caring team. From first walking in the door with the lovely ladies to the amazing nurses and the PT it was a wonderful experience during a very stressful time. I would highly recommend. The facility is very clean and very well Kept up. I always knew my dad was in good care. Only positive things to say about this facility.

I transferred from Northside Hospital to this center on March 10 after having major abdominal aortic surgery. My prior history had been dealing with issues and my legs that did add up to what was happening. I was about four days from death to put it directly. Northside did the surgery and move me to E. Cobb Center. I’m 76 years old. I’ve been given a second chance. East Cobb Center For Nursing And Healing LLC helped me get started. This the facility is absolutely beautiful. The staff is absolutely beautiful. The attention that you are given is unbelievable. I firmly believe that nurses are the hands of God. The doctors do the work right in the notebooks give the orders and the nurses do what is right for the patient to make sure that they are given what is needed to help them improve. The occupational therapy and physical therapy groups at the at the center are unbelievable. I don’t want to embarrass anybody, but at the physical therapy, Vera, Lucia, and David were wonderful. Occupational therapist Taylor was the best. Together with the nursing staff got me off my back and moving forward. If you find yourself needing a rehab/healing place East Cobb center for nursing and healing is the place to go. God has blessed everyone in that facility. I hope I haven’t overdone it.

When our aunt was leaving the hospital after a hip replacement, we were presented with 4 choices, and this facility had the highest reviews. While this was our first rodeo, and we don't have actual comparisons, we feel like she ended up in a place that was very helpful for her recovery. She liked the routine, the care, the meals, and the therapies. She definitely improved and was able to leave in a reasonable time. We appreciate the advice and guidance from her social worker and were able to successfully appeal a discharge date that felt too fast, and then we were ready to roll soon after that. The first 24 hours were very chaotic and confusing, but things settled down after that, and she was quite comfortable and well cared for.
