Our experience with Eagles Eye at the Miramar location was a very positive one for me and my family. The facility cared for my mother with love and dedication. The staff as well as Gloria, the owner, were not only there for my mother but for our family as well. The facility was always clean and inviting. The staff took time to prepare homemade meals for all of the residents. Again, it was a blessing that my mother spent her last few months of her life in this facility. If you’re thinking about putting your loved one in Eagles Eye, don’t think twice they will be in good hands.

I just want to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone at Eagle’s Eye Comfort Care for the way they looked after my mum. Caring for a loved one is never easy, and having a team you can truly trust makes all the difference. The carers were always so kind, patient, and respectful with her, and they treated her with real dignity. It meant so much to our family knowing she was in such caring hands. They didn’t just do their job — they genuinely cared about her wellbeing and comfort. We will always be grateful for the support and compassion they showed my mum and our family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Eagle’s Eye Comfort Care to anyone looking for truly compassionate care.

Choosing this care home for our family member was one of the best decisions we could have made. The level of care, kindness, and compassion shown by everyone there is truly exceptional. What makes this place so special is the owner, who is a registered nurse and brings not only professional expertise but also a genuinely loving and caring approach to everything they do. You can feel that the residents are treated with real warmth, dignity, and respect. The staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported, and it brings huge peace of mind to families knowing their loved ones are in such compassionate hands. We are incredibly grateful for the care and kindness shown to our family member and would highly recommend this care home to anyone looking for a safe, caring, and supportive environment.

I was surprised to see only one old 4-year old review here. In fact, it seems this review for "Pembroke Pines" is really for the larger facility in the same ownership in Miramar. The owner of (both facilities) is an RN, and the larger Miramar facility has 10 licensed beds. In Pembroke Pines, the bed count is 6, as it's in a single family home converted to ALF use. I've been to both of these facilities in the past, and found them to be very similar to many others. All businesses, large and small, have had staffing issues in the Covid -19 era, and the whole country suffered, especially in healthcare settings. Thankfully, in FL there's now the No Patient Left Alone act, which assures us that we won't have to leave our loved ones dependent only on phone conversations for family support. The state's many small ALF homes deserve another look, because they're much more family-friendly than large corporate facilities. I asked this owner why the one person who reviewed the home placed and kept her there, and it seems care needs were advanced, so of course she wanted her mom in a smaller place (they go up to 200 beds, which the smallest being 6 beds) and of course we were all more stressed then, too. This makes sense and I, for one, am willing to give the owners of small ALF homes a Lot of credit for the TLC they provide in Florida. Most people don't realize 98% of ALFs up to 15 beds are Woman-owned and many of them Minorities, as this Jamaican nurse owner is. I visited this google page a few days ago because a friend in Miami wanted to help an older lady in a hospital or rehab there. I had given the name of Eagles Eye to her, and apparently a lady in discharge planning saw that one prior old review and shared it with the potential resident. Although there's space available and Eagles Eye would take her for her very limited budget, she's not getting help due to a 4-year old review about communication issues for a daughter in NY with her mom here. It's a shame people don't communicate more in person these days. Let's get back to normal and get to know our neighborhood Small businesses. Older people do tend to do better in smaller settings where they can make friends more easily.

Our family had the misfortune of having our mom at this facility for 8 terrible months. I will start by saying that the facility on a basic level has a clock that is in the dining room and living room that does not work. There is no calendar anywhere, so patients are unaware of the date and time unless they have a watch and a personal calendar. There is a list on the wall of daily activities, exercise etc. For the 4 days that i was there visiting exercise activity was done only once. I was informed by the other patients that they have never done any exercise before. The phone in the facility rarely gets answered. If you call to speak to your loved one, there is no guarantee that you will. On one particular occasion I called for 3 hours with no answer. If you leave a message on the answering machine, no one calls you back. There is a constant clicking sound on the phone when you are speaking to your loved one, thereby making it difficult to communicate. I was informed by the owner after complaining about the unanswered phone that if we call the facility and no one answers, to call her and she will call her staff and tell them to answer the phone. At the time our mom was there it was 7 patients to 2 aids. An answered phone is essential to a facility , especially during the Covid-19 pandemic when that is our only communication with our loved one. The care and staff in this facility is horrible. The poor quality of care starts at the top with the owner of the facility. There is a constant turnover of people and they are NOT PROPERLY TRAINED. While visiting my mom she was given her medication by a new staff member. She had her pills in a cup that said AM medication, but it was evening time. My mom noticed , as did my sister who is a nurse and brought it to the aids attention. My sister asked the aid what the medication was and the aid did not know. Not only was she administering morning medication in the evening, but she was also unaware of what she was giving the patient. When we informed the owner about this very serious mistake she said "haven't we all had first day at work mistakes". This aid was walking around the facility with earphones in her ear oblivious to anyone who was calling out to her. That aid was fired 3 days after we left. How does a new poorly trained aid be given the responsibility of dispensing medication to patients? If you call the facility inquiring who took care of your loved one on the night shift, you are told to call the proprietor of the facility. Absolutely no transparency of who is taking care of your loved one. A constant turnover of staff. The owner of the facility has hung up on me several times when we get into a conversation about issues with the facility. My mom was in a bed with loose railing for months. The bed was provided by an insurance company . The aids were aware of the loose railings but did not inform the family. My mom hit her head on the bed rail because she held on to it trying to get out of bed. She has a large indentation on her forehead. We were informed a week after the injury. When we visited her a few months after the injury the bed rail was still not fixed and the owner said she was unaware of the loose bed railing despite her knowing that she was injured trying to get out of bed, and the aids being aware of the loose bed railing. Absolutely no communication between staff and owner . This facility is inadequate and i would highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your loved one to be taken care of.
