I have the privilege of working with Diversicare of Amory and can truly say this is a special place. The residents are happy and well cared for, and the staff is always warm, welcoming, and engaged. Morgan Tubb , LaTrenda Guines, and Kellie Kyle are phenomenal to work with in inpatient care and discharge planning…professional, compassionate, and communicative. It’s clear the new leadership has things running beautifully. Highly recommend!!

If you love someone in this facility I would strongly encourage you to find a better place for them. They were mean, rude, uncaring, neglectful bullies. My person almost died there due to their mistreatment/neglect. Please advocate for your people and take them somewhere they will be treated with love or the bare minimum compassion and professionalism.

My husband was there for respite(5) days. They never got him up & didn't know he could even walk. He went in with 33 Norco and came out with 17 ! He developed a bedspread that never healed. Why are the stay open & the one in tupelo isn't any better. All I can say ..run forest run!

My grandmother was there maybe a year. Went to visit every Sunday. She was 91 yrs old. She fell out of bed several times and banged her head on the floor. They didn't have sensor pad on bed. She was a fall risk. Finally got to where she couldn't think or make a sentence. Cuts , bangs, bruises and finger nails broke off in the quick. Then fell and broke hip. Had to have unexpected surgery. Then she died. She was in pain and suffered from negligence. At time they had 91,000.00 dollars in fines for neglect of patients. There star rating was 1.5.

They only do for their residents what they have to do to stay leagal. They are short handed about all the time. That makes the people that wears a dipper has to sit or lay in their own waist.
