I cannot say enough positive things about Dayton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Dayton, TX. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the compassion, dedication, and family-oriented atmosphere that truly sets this facility apart. One of the most remarkable things about this center is the longevity and commitment of its staff. Mrs. Chatty, the laundry supervisor, has been serving here for 25 years. That kind of dedication speaks volumes. She is always kind, attentive, and takes pride in making sure residents’ personal items are cared for properly. It’s clear she treats everyone with respect and warmth. I also want to recognize Mrs. Jackie Provost-Williams, a CNA who has been there just as long as Mrs. Chatty. Her compassion and consistency are truly special. Being a CNA is not an easy job, yet she shows patience, professionalism, and genuine care every single day. You can tell this is more than just a job to her—it’s her calling. Facilities are only as good as the people who work in them, and Dayton Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is blessed with staff members who truly care. Their long-term commitment creates stability, trust, and a sense of family for residents and their loved ones. I highly recommend this center to anyone looking for a place where their loved ones will be treated with dignity, kindness, and heartfelt care.

Mrs. Chatty has been a true blessing to this nursing home for the past 25 years. Her dedication, compassion, and work ethic speak for themselves. She is not someone who just shows up for a paycheck; she genuinely cares about the residents and their well-being. She works incredibly hard to make sure the elderly are in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment. She goes above and beyond to ensure they have everything they need and treats them with dignity and respect. You can tell her heart is in what she does. The facility is better because of her, and the residents are fortunate to have someone like Mrs. Chatty caring for them every single day.

My name is Shannon Salinas and I highly recommend this place for your loved one. They have been so good and helpful with the transition of the placement of my mom. They are so clean and very attentive. I can call them anytime and they are always friendly and willing to help for anything . The admin Ms. Tina, Brenda who helps with Medicaid process and Tammy who I’m not sure exactly her title is great and The Director of nursing really cares and don’t stop at anything to get things done ., he visits his patients and makes sure they are comfortable and ok . The nurses and CNAS are just as amazing ! I absolutely love Ms. Kathy who is a RN she’s so willing just to listen and not blow me off because this is all new to me so thank you all for all you do each day . I can’t say enough about this place and recommend them ! I rate them at a 10….thank you for all the hard work you do for your patients and their families!!

I called this morning to offer a donation of a puzzle table and puzzles, many, and the woman on the line was completely rude and hung up on me. She was asking who I was and I was trying to explain when she hung up. I would question the professionalism of this facility.
