We had a very unfortunate experience at Cranberry Court. When my husband went to check on his mother, he found that she had died. He immediately pulled the emergency cord multiple times, but no one responded. After searching the building for assistance, the only staff member he could find was asleep on a couch in the lobby. For a facility that costs more than $7k per month, this level of responsiveness is deeply concerning. I understand that assisted living facilities are facing significant staffing shortages, but residents and their families should still be able to expect attentive supervision. The most troubling part is that if the only staff member on duty was asleep, how many other residents were left without assistance during that time?

Staff, as well as management, are very welcoming and friendly not only residents, but to new employees, and treat everyone like family. Very loving environment!

When a family member was staying in this facility, I went to visit and it unprofessional to say the least. I went in the door and rang the bell. No one came. Finally someone came out of the kitchen and basically said, “uhh, do you need something?” Meanwhile, the bell is going off throughout the entire facility and everyone is ignoring it……. During this visit I not only helped another resident tie her shoes, but also checked in on the woman in the room next to my family member because she was repeatedly calling for someone to come to her side and there was no workers in sight. That was my first unfortunate visit. My other did not go well either as staff KNEW about some shady dealings going on between residents, but instead tried to blame my aunt for my family member getting a hold of what she shouldn’t have. The staff is negligent and careless. I would not send any of my family to this facility ever again.
