The absolute worst bunch of untrained individuals I have ever seen in my life. Nurses who are about as knowledgeable as used toilet paper, and do not want yo answer questions. CNA's sitting in the hallways talking about patients and their families, and not in a positive light. When a nurse walks in to visit a resident in the facility and has to instruct the physical therapists on how to do his job, you have an issue. Perhaps the worst display of incompetence was when the CNA's and the nurse staff ignored a call bells for 37 minutes!m, yes 37 minutes. This was absolutely disgusting. However, instead of answering the bell, a self entitled nurse was degrading a young CNA in my father's room, really professional. I'm not sure who she thought she was impressing, but her tone and her language, impressed no one. A relative was in Miles Memorial. She swears that the same nurse was working in the hospital. As a precaution, I refused to leave my relative in her care. She was still arrogant and exceptionally rude and it fairly certain it was her. Then there was the alleged head nurse at Coves Edge. She was of Asian decent, and was completely useless. She wasted 10 minutes of my time explaining why it took 37 minutes to answer the call bell. If you have a loved one who needs care, try a veterinary clinic. I guarantee that they would receive superior care at the veterinary clinic in Warren. Coves Edge should not be used as a facility to care for elderly. After witnessing the absolute incompetence from an uncaring, unmotivated, lazy, rude staff, I wouldn't place my worst enemy in that institution. The town would benefit greatly if this establishment was transformed into a homeless shelter, not makeshift concentration camp. Sorry, you watch your relative mistreated and see how you feel. FYI - I'm not sure who distributes your medications at ghis facility. However, a nurse or CRMA, dropped medication on the floor three different times. They proceeded to pick it up and distribute it to the residents. Would you please show to me where, in CRMA training it states you can pick a pill up off the floor and still distribute it? It doesn't, so why is this an acceptable practice at Coves Edge? The state needs to tighten restrictions and hold the workers accountable for thdir blatant violations and incompetence.

Visited a friend who said she was treated very good. I had an experience of being cared for at Cove's Edge in 2016. The staff was wonderfully attentive, the food, very tasty, excellent menu choices and we could order whatever we desired. I was treated to hand and foot manicure in the beautiful garden courtyard!
