The Cottages at Lake Park Senior Living & Memory Care

The Cottages at Lake Park is an assisted living community in Marinette, Wisconsin that combines independent apartment living with 24-hour supportive and personal care. Residents have their own apartments equipped with private baths and kitchen facilities, with services tailored to individual needs and adjusted as care requirements change.

The community provides up to 28 hours per week of services, with the ability to extend hours for a 90-day period during acute illness or injury. The philosophy emphasizes maximizing residents' free time and keeping them active in the community while helping them maintain independence as long as possible.

Amenities and activities include cards, arts and crafts, book reviews, menu planning, and gardening, all offered in a home-like environment. Professional staff members are trained to meet residents' needs with courtesy and respect. Residents are welcome to use the grounds to entertain family and friends. Garage parking and beauty/barber shop services are available for an additional cost.

The Cottages also operates a Memory Care program specifically designed for individuals with dementia, including Alzheimer's disease. Staff members are professionally trained in dementia care approaches across all types and stages, providing frequent reminders, redirection, and calm reassurance in a safe and supportive environment. Family members receive support in learning how to communicate and spend quality time with their loved ones.

Admission to Memory Care does not require a dementia diagnosis. The community works with families through the admission process to determine the best transition approach for each resident.
