I’m incredibly grateful for the care Carlos and Shannon from Cornerstone Caretakers provided during my father’s final week on hospice. I hired them for overnight caregiving so I could rest knowing my 75-year-old dad was being watched closely. They monitored him throughout the night and woke me whenever concerns we had discussed earlier arose. Their attention to detail, reliability, and compassion exceeded my expectations. Both Carlos and Shannon had wonderful bedside manner and were willing to do anything to help both my dad and me during a very difficult time. Carlos was with me when my dad passed and handled that moment with incredible grace and care. Because of their support, I was able to take care of myself by getting sleep, which enabled be to spend meaningful time with my dad during his last week. I’m deeply thankful and would highly recommend Cornerstone Caretakers.

We had a special request for caregivers during a one day special family event. We worked with Cornerstone on the request and needs. The two caregivers met with us prior to the event to make sure we could share details about the need and type of care. Both caregivers asked great questions and confirmed they knew the assignment. Most of all they were kind and compassionate and put us at ease. On the day of the event they were attentive and discreetly provided care in a difficult and delicate setting with lots of guests present. They blended in with the family and were part of the event. They created a safe space for the family to be fully present and participate in the event while anticipating needs and care. They completely surpassed our expectations. We can’t describe the appreciation and heartfelt gratitude for Caroline and Bethany.

We only worked with Cornerstone for a short while, but they were so great to work with! Parker came to my parents' home and was so personable and caring with them. He explained everything in a way that they could understand, showing empathy and care. He immediately assigned Valerie to work with them, and she was fantastic! Valerie showed up every day with a smile, ready to go above and beyond. She worked tirelessly to help my parents with whatever they needed - even when my mom didn't make it easy for her. She cleaned, she meal-planned, she shopped and cooked, she did physical therapy exercises with my dad, read and discussed things with my dad to stimulate his mind, and put up with mental illness and crazy, last-minute schedule changes. She was patient and kind, and so personable. Though Mom was very picky and often sent caregivers home that she didn't like, she loved Valerie and praised her to our family often. I want to give a huge shout-out to Valerie!! This isn't an easy job, and is sometimes very challenging and unpleasant. But Valerie was always willing to do anything to make life easier for my parents, as well as me as their caregiver. She is amazing, and we will forever be grateful for all she did to help Mom and Dad! Thanks, Cornerstone Caregiving! After switching from another caregiving company where the service and competence was less than stellar, we have been so impressed with the quality of care and service you offer. We highly recommend you to everyone!
