This is the best company I have worked for. They pay the most and everybody in the office actually cares about your needs and concerns. Candice and John are the best bosses i have ever worked for. They always fix anything that is wrong. John has took time to help me in every way he can. Hes such a good guy. They make everything right if its ever wrong. Candice has went out of her way to help me on several occasions. I have nothing but positive things to say about her. I am always treated with respect and dignity. For example there was a night Candice sacrificed sleep to help me with a issue I was having after midnight. She was even willing to drive over a hour to help me with a situation that she lost alot of sleep over until the situation was resolved. As far as the people on here leaving nasty comments. I dont believe they are commenting on the correct company. It just sounds like made up stories honestly.

Don’t work for this company or bring your family to them. Anytime something is a problem instead of just simply resolving it they have office people who want to argue with you and always make it your fault. They don’t know how to file workman’s comp they don’t know how to communicate with each other because if they did caregivers wouldn’t be losing shifts, wouldn’t have to explain to every different person that texts the same thing everyday. There’s no way of accountability. They make u waste your gas and cancel on you when u bid for a shift somehow in just a minute or two every time someone “gets it” they don’t look to see who texted for a shift FIRST or LAST they have no empathy I’ve had a client that was yelled at by a caregiver, another one came in high on pills and told my client “you will do what I say” anytime client or caregiver try to report it turns around on you because “you should never request off” not calling out but requesting vacation or a day off to work another job that actually guarantees hours.

Cornerstone Caregiving has been amazing. We began using them 2 months ago after my elderly mother suffered an illness that took away much of her former independence. John Higgins has been fabulous to work with to find the caregiver fit for our needs. He truly seems to care about what he does and is always immediately responsive. Lynn and Shian have been helping us care for my mother and I could not ask for two better people. They are engaged, observant, knowledgeable, communicative, and genuinely care for my mom. I highly recommend Cornerstone Caregiving and the two fabulous caregivers who have touched our lives!

Cornerstone has cared for my 99 year old father in his home for several months, and currently provide almost 24/7 care to supplement family caregiving. Our main caregiver who stays 40 hours, Ellen Willis, has never missed a day of work. (She worked 50 hours at my request last week while Dad was hospitalized and would have worked more if needed.) Her care for Dad is directly responsible for him still being alive, as she coaxes him to eat, keeps him clean, and is always aware of safety issues. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and very dedicated. She was a fierce advocate when he was hospitalized. Ellen works well with hospice staff and other visitors and documents/communicates with family everything that happens during her shifts. When she is with Dad, our family rests easy. Other caregivers who have been outstanding but work fewer hours are Samantha R, Breanna C, Shannon A, Terry G, and Brooke. On an occasion, Dad has had a caregiver we felt was not the best, in which case Candace Remond, Assistant Operating Director, has worked cheerfully and tirelessly to correct the issue. Caregiving takes so much more than just physical skills. One must have a heart for this kind of work. This is evident in all the individuals mentioned. I am so thankful to Cornerstone caregivers for providing care for Dad when our family cannot. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to keep their family member at home.
