I had tour of facilities and it was disgusting. From the first moment I entered the lobby. It was disgusting Worker fixing something in lobby pants were half way down. The rooms smelled and were dirty Bedspread dirty. Wall paper coming off the wall. Dining room disgusting and very dirty I saw a roach Unprofessional staff. Exercises room unsanitary My rating less then 0

Hi , my name is Malissa Wesley , and I would like to share my experience at Complete Care at Summit Ridge. When I first arrived about a year and a half ago I was unable to move around or care for myself independently. At 1 point I cannot stand on my own.But with the support of therapy , teen recreation , staff , residents and the karen staff throughout the building , I slowly began making progress. Today I am able to transfer my myself from the bed to the chair and from the toilet to the chair.I can also stand for short period of time , which is something I once thought would not be possible again. Physical therapy helped me tremendously, but encouragement from everyone around me also play a major role in my recovery. The recreation staff kept me motivated and involved, and the residents encouraged me to activity in daily interaction. Their support meant more to me than words can explain. The staff as summer ridge are karen , compassionate , supportive and truly dedicated to helping resident improve and feel comfortable. They genuinely care about the people here and work hard to keep everyone to succeed. My time here has been both mean and life changing. Now I am preparing for my next chapter, moving into my apartment and becoming independent again.Why it is bittersweet to leave the people who have become like family to me.I am excited and thankful for the new beginning. Open the door to my new apartment will represent more than just a place to live.It is represent progress, healing independent and hope. I\nWould encourage everyone to consider complete care at some of ridge in west irons to give it a chance.My experience here have shown me that support dedication , encouragement , positive change is possible.

Hello everyone, I am currently a patient at Complete Care at Summit Ridge, and I thank God every day for putting me here. Before coming here, I was at Sinai on Jay Street in Newark, and honestly, that place was my hell. I was constantly getting high there, and I didn’t even need to leave the building to get anything. The place was filthy, with mice running around and roaches everywhere. The food was worse than jail food. Since leaving there and coming to Complete Care, the staff here truly helped save my life and turn it around. I am now 8 months clean, happy, and finally moving in the right direction. The staff genuinely cares about their patients. Olga, the administrator, and Jennifer, the nurse administrator, went above and beyond for me. They found out that I’m an artist, so they got me art supplies and encouraged me to interact more with the other patients. I’m now running the art class and even working at the candy store. I’m making a complete 360° change in my life, and I can’t thank the staff enough for everything they’ve done and for treating me like a human being. I truly feel that if it wasn’t for the caring staff here, I might not even be here today. And before I forget — the food is absolutely amazing. I actually enjoy eating again. Thank you to everyone at Complete Care at Summit Ridge for believing in me and helping me become a better version of myself.

I was admitted here at summit ridge at first it was tough because it was new for me but the staff was pleasant dariann has helped me if there were any issues and she voiced my concerns when I had some I was on the short term unit b wing and Michelle and Tracyann were my nurses and I trusted them to care for me. Physical therapy has helped me a lot and I forgot the therapy director name but she has helped me recover. Thank you complete care summit ridge.

If I could possibly give 0 stars I would. This center is not somewhere to send anyone you love and care about. The CNAs are rude and they don’t clean up behind themselves. They will intentionally ignore you and will take hours to assist you. The nurses take their time when you need something important. The halls always smell like urine . There’s been several times I came to visit my sister and found her room filthy and the workers blaming her as if she can do it herself from a wheelchair. She has to change her own dressings because no one finds time to assist her . She wasn’t even given a wheelchair or walker her first 4 days there nor did anyone assist her with getting back and forth from the bathroom. A metal bed rail fell on her leg and the nurses didn’t notify the doctors. you fall they will take hours to pick you up from the floor. Housekeeping will go days without properly cleaning. They leave garbage everywhere around the facility and act like it’s not there . This place is disgusting. Listen to the rest of the reviews and do not send your family here!!!
