My experience with Sunnyside Assisted Living, has been great I’ve personally witnessed how amazing their employees are with their residents especially Julie Santiago, Maribel Rojas, and Randy Webb, not to leave everyone else out but many to name I highly recommend this place if you have a loved one who needs care or simply take a tour there and see for yourself how amazing these people are and how welcoming their staff is. You definitely see the happiness in their residents with out a doubt.

Our experience with Sunnyside Assisted Living has been very good. We have a friend who is a resident there. Every time we visit we encounter friendly staff and positive attitudes. Since Covid restrictions have prevented us from visiting this year, we have been very impressed with how accommodating the staff has been at getting every little thing we drop off immediately to our friend. They have been amazing at checking in with her and keeping family informed. When our friend was sick, the staff was amazing! Melissa, the director, went above and beyond in making sure our friend was well taken care of. This included numerous calls and constant communication, even on her own time. She is a truly caring and compassionate person, and we are all so fortunate to have her in this position. It doesn’t matter what time of day, or day of week ; everyone we have interacted with has been outstanding.

I can not say enough good things about Sunnyside Assisted Living. The facility itself is always clean, well maintained, and very well managed. The residents are happy and welcoming to new comers. We have recently moved my mother-in-law into Sunnyside Assisted Living, and she has been met with the warmth of old friends. It has been such a joy to see how quickly she has settled in. Even behind masked faces you can see sincere smiles. The staff is absolutely amazing! These are the most caring, compassionate, and competent individuals. On a daily basis I am touched with actions that go far beyond their job requirements. The efforts during this pandemic, to bring some degree of “ normalcy “ to their residents has been truly heroic! I speak daily with my mother-in-law and hear how her day has been, who she met in the hall while “doing laps”, who has popped in just say hi, or bring treats, or celebrate her Birthday with cake, balloons, cards from staff and residents alike. I knew that we were all making a sound decision when choosing Sunnyside Assisted Living, I just didn’t understand what an amazing family we were actually joining. I am so excited to reach this next phase in freeing up activities in our “new norm” as my mother-in-law is very active, and I can already see such a wonderful impact this place and these special people have had in improving her life through their care. I am very thankful.

My Mother has been a resident at Sunnyside Assisted Living for many years and my family and I could not be happier with the care that the staff provide to her. The staff is friendly, professional and very responsive to my Mother’s needs. This is especially true in this time of COVID. The staff have worked especially hard to maintain residents’ safety while also caring for their emotional needs. My Mother loves the staff there and we are grateful for the love, care and support provided by them.

The staff is so welcoming, caring, respectful & knowledgeable . I love how the staff spends quality time making connections with the residents making sure their daily needs are met. Everyone is ready and willing to help each other out when things get busy. This is defiantly a home like setting!! If you're wanting to move your loved ones in an assisted living this is the one! :)
