What can I say - no one really wants to go to rehab, but after my husband spent 3 weeks in the hospital, he needed some rehab! Having never chosen a facility before, we decided to go by reviews and initially went to one rated 5 stars. It was definitely NOT a good fit for my husband (and I'm not really sure how it got the ratings it did). After researching our rights, I decided to transfer my husband to Columbine. Almost immediately we understood that it was the right decision. Michelle was very accommodating on dealing with the transfer and Jaime approached our situation with warmth and professionalism. One of the head nurses, Dawn, familiarized herself with my husband's complex medical requirements, and the PT, OT, and Speech Therapy professionals jumped right in from day one - all approaching us and their jobs with courtesy and respect. Betty, who has worked in this establishment for a long time, seemed to always know what was going on. I cannot remember all of the names of the people who worked with my husband, but my sincerest thanks for doing this very difficult job. The one hiccup was my husband initially having a very difficult roommate - a problem that went unaddressed for longer than it should have, but which was eventually taken care of. So, while no one really ever wants to be in rehab, if we had to do it all over again, we would have picked Columbine first. What a great facility to have in the community!

Let’s face it - nobody wants to be in rehab, but that’s what my husband required after recovering from a serious illness and a long hospital stay. Initially he chose a 5-star rated facility in Canon City which didn’t work out at all, so I arranged to have him transferred to Columbine. From the start, it was much better!!! Michelle and Jaimie were very welcoming and professional in admitting my husband. The nursing staff (too many names to remember except for Dawn) was also warm and professional - immediately addressing all of my husband’s complicated medical and dietary needs. The PT and OT staff began working with my husband on the very first day - a real necessity after laying in a hospital bed! I was truly impressed by the care my husband received at Columbine, and extend my thanks to everyone who plays a part in working there (shout-out to Betty who has worked there for a long time). The work all of these people do is not easy, and nobody is perfect, but if my husband ever requires rehab again, I’ll know to come to Columbine from the start!

I would like to state that the new administrator at Columbine (Annalise) is doing a great job. I have an uncle who resides here, and he has noticed the positive changes as well. She genuinely cares about the residents and their needs. The grounds and the building are also improving under her care. It’s nice to have someone who truly cares.

I have had the pleasure of seeing firsthand the outstanding care provided at Columbine Manor Care Center. The facility is always clean, welcoming, and well-maintained, which creates a comfortable environment for both residents and visitors. One of the things that stands out most is how professional and caring the staff are. Every employee works well together as a team and communicates effectively whenever needed to ensure residents receive the best possible care. It is clear that the staff genuinely love what they do, and that compassion shines through in their daily interactions with residents. I especially enjoy seeing the smiles on the residents' faces during activities. The activity department does a wonderful job keeping residents engaged and entertained. Whether they're playing kickball with a soft beachball, participating in group activities, or enjoying performances from volunteers who come to sing and entertain, there is always something positive happening. The dedication, teamwork, and genuine care shown by everyone at Columbine Manor make it a special place. I highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for quality care in a supportive and compassionate environment.

This facility has a home like environment and you can see that the residents are truly cared for. Since I’ve been in the area the last two years they have done a lot of upgrades to the facility which is ongoing. Situated in an area with Mountain View’s the residents enjoy spending time outside during the warmer weather. A great team who goes above and beyond to support residents care and needs. I have enjoyed being apart of a team that truly cares. A true gem ❤️
