My father spent nearly eight months at Columbine Commons, The Lakes, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best decisions we made for his care. From the moment he arrived, the staff made him feel welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. Their warmth and professionalism created an environment that felt more like home than a facility. The nursing and caregiving teams were exceptional—attentive, compassionate, and always willing to go the extra mile. They treated my father not just as a patient, but as a person with dignity and individuality. He often spoke about how comfortable and safe he felt, and that peace of mind meant everything to our family. The food was consistently excellent, with meals that were both nutritious and enjoyable. It was clear that the kitchen staff took pride in their work, and my father looked forward to mealtimes every day. Therapy services were also outstanding. The physical and occupational therapists were knowledgeable, encouraging, and truly invested in his progress. Their personalized approach helped him regain strength and confidence, and we saw real improvements thanks to their dedication. I’m deeply grateful to everyone at Columbine for the care, kindness, and professionalism they showed throughout my father’s stay. They created a space where healing was possible—not just physically, but emotionally. I would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to any family seeking quality rehabilitation and compassionate care.
