It is sad to read the bad experiences others had at College Vista while ours has been the opposite. Our father who is terminally ill with stage 4 cancer and other health issues has been in and out of hospitals and transitional care. CV was recommended to us and after our initial visits to check it out, we were hopeful. He's been there now for two months and we are all grateful for the care he is receiving. When he had an episode and had to go to ER, the staff responded swiftly and provided excellent communication. When he tried to get up on his own and fell, they quickly took measures to safeguard his bed and surroundings and again provided excellent communication. He had a horrible case of bed sores and with Daniel's expert care, it is getting noticeably better. The physical and occupational therapists are caring and truly try to work with dad. Since he's diabetic and doesn't walk, we had been asking for leg compressors. Vanessa had been looking for a vendor for a while with no success so they went ahead and purchased one out of pocket. Vanessa, Daniel, Daryl, Maria and the entire team at CV are caring people who are skilled and good at their jobs. The facility is clean. Walking through, everyone greets you with a smile and the patients are calm and friendly as well. It's not chaotic and you don't hear screaming like in some other facilities. Kudos and many thanks for your great care and going the extra mile, CV team. We are grateful for you all.
