My 85 year old Dad was seen in the ER in October and was not told he had fluid on his lungs until I took him to the Dr today. I stepped outside to make a phone call and went back inside. Once inside tried to go back to the room and some snotty Nurse said I don't know you and you can't go back there. I said I've been back there for 2 hours. She called her patients name and he made a smart comment to me about going back there. Which he shouldn't have due to none of his business!!!! I said I need to get back there, she finally let me back there after she asked me to tell her which room he was in. This doesn't make your Clinic look good. Very rude and snotty nurse and I just canceled my appointment. I will not go there due to lack of communication and rudeness!! Do better your suppose to be professional and you weren't. On another note the Dr was amazing and helped us out.

My mother was admitted after a car accident. She broke her sternum and ended up with pneumonia. She goes home with a low dose of antibiotics and enough to last a few days. By the time the antibiotics were gone she clearly was not any better. She was worse. Her family were concerned and worried she would not make it. At this point I brought her to community. She was treated very well and given the correct dose for antibiotics and pain. Anyone with common sense or a freaking medical degree would know this would be the outcome. I'm not sure if it's stupidity, lack of concern or both. I would also like to mention that on Another occasion she went to the er with back pain from a fall. they sent her home to later realize her back was broke. She was also sent home with a broken leg and wasn't made aware of it. In my opinion it's more like a nursing home. The lack of common sense and compassion is scary and sad. I recommend going somewhere else. If its an emergency and you have no choice, try your best to get transferred.

In April 2024, Dr Herzog completed a total knee replacement on me. The care I received from physician to staff was excellent. Everyone was very kind, respectful, concerned about my status and eager to assist. The facility was clean and organized. I highly recommend Clark Fork Valley Hospital and the staff. We are privileged to have this care in our rural community. Thank you to all.

For a small community hospital and clinic they are wonderful and caring. For the most part I have never had an issue with them and they are good to order any text or x rays in order to cover all the bases of a medical problems. Nick Lawyer is extremely caring and his bedside manor is the best. Now then I remember that we are all human so I don't look at unexpected issues to cause an ill report, I would recommend this facility to others and feel very blessed to have them in our community.
