As soon as you walk in you’re greeted with a smile and a pleasant smell that a lot of these facilities don’t have. Physical therapy and occupational therapy have been doing a good job helping my friend get better and regain her strength. I think they are working very hard on any improvements that they may have needed. It’s been just over a week since my friend has been a patient here and she has made a remarkable improvement

My Mom is at this facility and there are some wonderful people here. One.pf the most friendly and helpful is Angel, the front receptionist. No matter the time or the day she is always a helpful ray of Sunshine. She has kind words for everyone. She treats the residents like her own family. When she takes them outside she looks like a Mother Duck being followed by her Ducklings. She is truly an asset to.this facility. The PT dept is good and there are some awesome nurses as well.

My family and I are so happy that we selected this facility for our loved one.<br>Each time we visit we are welcomed with kind and smiling faces upon arrival as well as throughout our visit.<br><br>The staff is very caring, and welcoming which is a definite plus!

My family had an extremely disappointing experience at this rehabilitation facility while my mother was a patient there. We encountered repeated issues with communication, patient care, medication management, and overall staff awareness.<br><br>One of our biggest concerns was medication management. We were given conflicting information about which medications my mother was receiving and which medications the facility actually had available. One of those being her antibiotics that she did not need to miss 4 doses of. At no point were we informed that family members could bring medications from home until the facility was able to obtain them, which could have prevented delays and confusion.<br><br>The response time when my mother needed assistance was unacceptable. On multiple occasions, she waited 45 minutes or longer after pressing the call button for help getting to the bathroom or assistance to get back into bed. During one incident, she was left waiting so long that she nearly slipped completely out of her wheelchair while trying to wait for assistance.<br><br>The quality of the meals was also concerning. Many meals were inadequate and lacked nutritional value. For example, one Sunday evening dinner consisted of nothing more than a scoop of pimento cheese on a bun. That was the entire meal.<br><br>Another serious issue was the staff's lack of awareness regarding my mother's diagnosis of C. difficile (C. diff). Roughly half of the staff members who entered her room appeared unaware of her diagnosis and the necessary precautions. The instructions and rules we were expected to follow varied depending on which staff member came into the room, creating confusion and raising concerns about infection-control practices.<br><br>Ultimately, we decided to remove my mother from the facility because we no longer felt confident that she was receiving appropriate care. After her discharge, the facility reported that she was being taken to an unsafe environment and that our family was not capable of caring for her. This resulted in a mandated report being filed and a sheriff's deputy being sent to our home. After evaluating the situation firsthand, it became clear that the concerns raised by the facility were unfounded. The individuals involved were surprised to find that none of the allegations accurately reflected the reality of my mother's care situation.<br><br>Unfortunately, our experience left us with serious concerns about patient care, communication, accountability, and professionalism. Based on what our family experienced, I would not recommend this facility to others seeking rehabilitation or skilled nursing care for a loved one.
