Go to ciel of shorewood on Thursday talk black ladies front desk , say give you name and you phone number somebody call you today about two hours , no nobody call two hours , next day still nobody call me , have very bad service .

Supporting a loved one as they transition into memory care or assisted living is often a challenge. For my aunt, the move had to happen quickly; fortunately, the team at Ciel of Shorewood took this in stride and helped every step of the way to make the transition go as smoothly as possible. The clinical and administrative leaders have been flexible, accommodating, available and candid – always answering questions and following up on things as promised.<br><br>As important, during my aunt’s first month at Ciel, we’ve found the caregiving and housekeeping teams she interacts with daily to be kind, skilled and attentive. I’ve been learning from them how to more effectively communicate with my aunt as her dementia worsens. They’ve become instrumental in helping her live with dignity during this difficult time.<br><br>The other day, I took my aunt to the in-house hair salon at Ciel to get her hair cut and styled – something she hasn’t been able to do in months. Afterward, we stopped in the lobby to join residents from the memory care and assisted living for a happy hour and listen to some live Irish music. It was one of the best afternoons my aunt and I have had together in months – an experience made possible by the team at Ciel.

Ciel Senior Living- Less than 1 star if I could- no stars at all. My loved one was left full of feces and urine soaked adult briefs constantly. Staff refuse to to their job- lazy and could care less about the residents. Laundry never done- the facility smells. There is no one in charge and the staff are disrespectful- fight and argue with each other- sleep on 3rd shift. Do not put your family member here at any cost.

Head of sales confirmed they had a respite care room immediately available for my father in law. We provided all personal information and medical releases and then their sales person simply disappeared even though he knew we had an urgent need. We then got directed to nursing. Neither sales or nursing had the courtesy to make a single return a call in four days? Looks like we dodged a bullet considering HarborChase as a possible living solution for our senior family member. I guess it was a blessing in disguise.
