My mother unfortunately had to be put in a home ,this facility offered rehab so we had her placed here all the Dr's , nurse's staff , cafeteria to the ganitors were always so nice and the care I thought was great they really took care of Mom but as in anything there is no perfect place and I understand that but all and all I think they did a wonderful job.

Don’t let your family member go to this rehab facility! My dad was worse off when he left the facility. They didn’t even try to get him out of bed for treatment. Treatment was sitting him up and helping him brush his teeth. Because they left him in bed for weeks, his legs began to contracture and he was never able to straighten them again. After leaving the facility, he was basically bed bound because of their lack of care and therapy. Finally, the bill they sent was very expensive when we were told that his stay was covered. None of my calls to nurses were ever returned. Crooks, uncaring staff and terrible therapy. Find another rehab facility!!

If I could give no stars, I would. DO NOT BELIEVE the good reviews. My mom stayed here for a couple of days before she was rushed back to the hospital. During the middle of the night my mom fell out of one of their beds. They didn't contact her family. They didn't take her for any x-rays or scans. They told us they did not even know how long she laid on the floor before they found her. They also told us they did not contact us because their phones were down due to storms in the area. My sister got to the facility the next morning and noticed my mom was drugged out of her mind and started investigating. Turns out they had also given her the wrong medication, which they later tried to walk back and say the nurse misspoke about. They wouldn't have said a word if my sister wasn't aware enough to start asking questions. Please, if you have a loved one and you want good care, DO NOT SEND THEM HERE.

Several reviews are so negative and a few over-the-top positive, so here is an honest review of a one week + stay of my mom and what she/I experienced: 1. Staff (nursing, activities, PT, etc) are all very friendly and engaging. Lots of bright smiles, many with quite positive outlooks with interaction. I do think there was care and concern for the well-being of the folks staying there. 2. The location is good, tucked away a bit from the main road. It is older and this shows. There is some attempt to upgrade though overall is in fair shape. 3. Along those lines there are several observations that show a real need for improvements in housekeeping and overall attention to the facility. -Pallets on end against the wall is a fire hazard and, in that same area the emergency exit egress is partially blocked by an old mattress. -Postings peeling off the wall in the guest restroom has dust behind it so it has been in this condition for some time. -There are hanging dust threads in the room where my mother was. That, and in one of the ceiling tiles looks to be evidence of water intrusion. The ceiling tiles throughout much of the building look old (the darker colors in the texture speak to this). Mold and mildew can and will stick in these areas so there is some concern regarding the age of these. -Most recent food inspection rating a 90. One of the items on there was food not being kept warm. We did experience this as, upon delivery into her room food was cold and the next day several residents had diarrhea including my mom. By the time she was released there were large coverings over the food carts to help hold heat in plus this is more sanitary. A work-around to this is to have meals delivered to the common area. -Advertised with 'hotel like accommodations'...may want to rethink this. *Going back to the first one, there is one exception regarding staff who needs to be called out. An older woman at the front desk during the week...a maskhole in the worst possible way. First time I saw her was my 3rd visit and before even a good morning could be uttered she snaps, 'masks are required'. Um, not in the last several days and even that day hardly any staff or residents were poisoning themselves by wearing these plastic masks. I saw her twice after this and again with some wearing and some not, plus she uttered not a single word to me after that initial interaction. So overall it is what it is, an older facility with some opportunities for improvement though a very caring staff to take care of your family member in need. Stay engaged, be there for them, get outside (it is a shame not more get to enjoy the fresh air) and for rehab, give your family member a little homework to do.
