My mother has been at this facility for quite sometime as she is battling cancer. Here lately it’s been very bad. My mother complains about little simple things they can provide or look into. I’m not sure with her being a black woman if they’re being very bias and yes I am making that a race thing. I am placing a formal complaint on this care facility. They are starving these residents I have to Amazon her food and they will stand there while she opens it to see what was shipped to them. This isn’t a prison but sounds like one. I will make a Google review until someone contacts me. This and every review will be 1 star.

My daughter has been at Chariton Park for a little over 6 months and she loves it. Staying there was the best thing for her. It is rural and relatively small but the staff is very caring, informed and professional. We moved her because we found a place less than 15 minutes from our house. When it came time to move her she didn’t want to leave. Being in a quiet rural setting was very good for her. I would consider Chariton Park if I needed a place for my loved one!

My sister was a resident at Chariton Manor for 13 years. She received excellent care for 12 years. The last year has been terrible due to the lack of staff to provide proper care. My sister fell over 4 times this year and was hospitalized each time. She broke her femur this last fall and required surgery. She died 4 days after surgery from these injuries. I am very disappointed that no one addressed the fall issue. I have been unable to speak to my sister on the phone for months. I would not recommend this facility for any elderly person.

Its not the Hilton, but is a home that loves its residents. Taking some of the most difficult residents that no where else will isnt a easy job but they do it with care and everyone's well being in mind. They have a experienced nursing staff, great activities, a great menu of homemade foods, and loving management.

I am a male resident at Chariton Park Health Center in Salisbury,Mo. I must say that my stay here has been so very pleasant . The Staff is great and very helpful at all times. I do have one Concern though. It is in the 'Activities' Department. WE do have Bingo here with Chocolate prizes for winners ( and many times for just playing )... But I am going to talk with Management here to get at least one day a week for Pole Dancing.... Is one ever too Old to POLE Dance ??? I think not. The female Nurses Aides can lead in the training and perform on specific days... This will be a huge plus in the Activities Department and bring up moral and enthusiasm for the whole establishment ( and probably make the LOcal [and maybe National ] News and perhaps TV ). I will work with management in this... [ Maybe we can get a National Nursing Home Movement started to add POlE DANCING to their Activities schedule ! ] LeT's GO AGING!!!!
