Central Texas is one of the best places to have a family member. They take care of your family like their own. They try to make them feel as comfortable as possible and get them anything they need. Definitely highly recommend!

At Central Texas Nursing and Rehab, my mother is known by her name, not by her Medicare number. Let me be clear; this facility is professionalism, compassion, and top notch nursing care all rolled together and tucked into a small friendly town in West Central Texas. I have never felt as vulnerable as I did when I knew my mother needed a higher level of care than what we could provide at home; the research and decision making process is exhausting. I appreciate that Holden spent the first moments of our conversation asking about my mother’s care needs and explaining how Central Texas Nursing could best care for her specific medical concerns. Other facilities I spoke with were very concerned about what insurance my mother had and wanted to talk about payment before they talked about how they could best care for my mother. The personal touch and compassion is evident from the well trained aides who help my mother with her most intimate personal care needs, to the top-notch nursing staff of RNs and LVNs who administer her medicine and monitor her day to day health. Leadership is visible, cleanliness is a priority, and communication is quick and efficient. I feel like I’m an active participant in my mother’s care and I appreciate how the nursing staff educates me about my mother’s condition. The living experience at Central Texas Nursing and Rehabilitation is centered around compassionate care and dignity. I urge you to consider them for all they have to offer your loved one.

This place has been heaven sent. After dad died earlier this year we had to find a place for mom for her safety. We have been so impressed with the care mom has received here. She is in the secure Alzheimer’s unit and we never have to worry about her wandering away. The staff is so remarkable they are always smiling and have so much patience The facility is always clean and the food looks and smells delicious. They are always having activities to keep the clients active and engaged It’s a bit of a drive to see mom but it is definitely worth it to have her safe and treated with respect. Could not be more satisfied.
