Cecile Sutherland was extremely professional, timely and thoughtful about managing the care of our aunt. Her broad experience working with the medical community and elders was evident in the training and coaching she provided the in-home healthcare workers. Although we live across the country, from our aunt, she was very consistent in communicating with us as needed, and on a regular basis..

After a sudden illness followed by a hospitalization in the summer of 2019, my sister and I were challenged as to how to best provide care for our Mom who was being discharged to her own home. Her illness resulted in her being quite weakened and increasingly forgetful. No longer able to drive or handle the everyday tasks she once did, we were initially able to take turns getting her situated. However, living out of state we were at a loss as to how to best honor our Mom’s wishes about continuing to live in her own home. Enter Cedas Home Care. Ever since the first day of service, our family has experienced the finest of care from the delightful and helpful staff. Great care is taken to match and connect clients and care takers which is evidenced on how well our Mom is being cared for and how pleased she is with her Team. Weekly if not more frequent check ins happen with Management and my sister and I feel heard and are kept updated on our Mom’s well being. The last 18 months have been difficult enough. Having Cedas Team caring for our Mom has helped so much. It has been so reassuring during the pandemic to have this level of quality care when we are unable to visit ourselves.
