Staff are not trained to handle crisis at all. Some are not ready to listen to workers grievances let alone engage in effective communication. I was going through an emotional time after losing my spouse and when I tried taking a break because of the crisis I was going my supervisor told me to resign and get back to work when I was done with whatever I was going through. I found this very insensitive and the supervisor together with a phone operator kept telling me I was upset and threatened to write an incident report to say that I was upset because my need was not being met? These people need to be trained on, empathy, compassion and other good working morals. It is very unfortunate for someone to use their position to manipulate workers. Does this behavior really match Catholic Community Services? Very disappointing!
