I have nothing but great things to say about the staff at Caris. They spent the last year caring for my mother and literally became like part of the family. Anything we needed, they were there. I can’t think of anything that could have improved the care they gave her. Would recommend to anyone looking for a caring hospice group.

Caris Hospice of Greeneville, TN is truly a gift. Words cannot fully express what this team did for our family during my Dad’s final days, but I will try. From my very first call, Christine responded with compassion and professionalism. Amie arrived within the hour to admit Dad to hospice at home with kindness and calm efficiency. Jessica reached out personally with such heartfelt care. Gary patiently guided me through my first anxious day, taking every call with steady reassurance. Jan came and prayed over my Dad with my mother and me. He offered such understanding and took time to talk with us about who my Dad was before he became so suddenly ill. Alex brought gentle confidence and positivity into our home, caring for Dad beautifully while teaching us how to do the same without fear. Diana provided thoughtful guidance and invaluable resources, and was always available when new questions arose. During an especially difficult weekend, Alexis was our triage nurse, and we must have called her twenty times. Each time she was kind, patient, and deeply understanding. Sarah was extraordinary in those critical days. From the moment our calls were triaged, she responded within minutes and never once left us waiting. She came when we needed her — often before daylight or after dark, because that was when my Dad’s symptoms were at their worst. She assessed him carefully, listened closely to what we were seeing, and made the necessary medication and dosage adjustments until his pain and severe nervous system symptoms were finally under control. She knew exactly what she was doing and acted with calm authority and skill. Zonya was extraordinary from the very beginning of my Dad’s hospice journey. She stepped into our home with strength, experience, and deep compassion, and she was gently but honestly clear with us about how quickly things were progressing. Even when the truth was hard to hear, she delivered it with such care that it gave us steadiness instead of fear. On the night my Dad went to Heaven, Zonya was our rock, appointed by Jesus, no doubt. Calm, capable, and unwavering, she guided us through every moment with power and grace. She carried the weight of details we could not manage and held space for our grief with quiet strength. We absolutely could not have navigated that night without her. Every member of this team treated my Dad — and our family — with dignity, tenderness, and extraordinary professionalism. We will be forever grateful. May God bless each of you always.

I don't how what we would have done if it wasn't for Caris Hospice Greeneville. What an amazing team!!! When our Dad Michael Brown started his final journey towards Heaven they were there the whole way! At first coming out to the house to help him and then later as he declined more they continued to help him at the nursing home. This meant the world that they could continue seeing him there because he knew "His Girls"!! He felt comfortable with them and trusted them. He knew he could joke and laugh with them! Amie and Christina were amazing!!!!!!! From day 1 to the last day they were there. They truly became like family. Also Sarah, Zonya, Diana, Mary, Jessica, Gary all were such a huge help! (Sorry if i forgot any names) Seriously it took a team with Dad and they were it!! They worked well with Dad but also with us. Communication is key and they nailed it! They went above and beyond by setting up an evening for Dad to hang out with some biker friends! He ended up being able to take one last ride with the help of a biker named Tony and several others...Red and Chewy and a bunch more to help get him on the bike with Tony! Happy tears fell that evening!! Quality of life is the most important thing! From remembering family members names when he couldn't at times to bringing a coke-slushy from McDonalds cause that was his favorite!! Coloring books cause he loved drawing! They kept him clean and comfortable. A person hanging onto their dignity means a lot when going through such a difficult time! I'll never be able to say enough about these good people. It's the little things in life that make the difference! Thank you so much Caris Hospice Greeneville!! God bless all of you! You're the best!!

Caris is the best. They have been wonderful to my family and taken great care of my mother. From the nurses, bathing nurses, and chaplain to the office employees who call each week to see if we need anything, they have all been so kind and professional. They go above and beyond our expectations! Would highly recommend them!

They didn’t just provide excellent medical care — they offered comfort, understanding, and a gentle presence that brought peace to my loved ones and to us as a family. They treated my mother and sister as if they were their own family, always with patience and kindness. Walking through two journeys like this is never easy, but Caris made sure we never felt alone. Their support gave us the strength we needed and gave my mother and sister the comfort and dignity they deserved. Caris Healthcare is truly a blessing, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants their loved one to be cared for with the highest level of compassion and respect.
