My mother lived here for about 5 years or so when It was called AVALON AT CERRITOS. The place and the workers were always on their feet to help anyone that needed anything. I would give it a 10 if I could. I remember Olga and Kris. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs assistance to live and have a fun life. Maybe some day I will stop by for a visit to say Hello 👋. I highly recommend this place and the workers too. Happy Mother's day 🌺 Everyone. There is probably many Mother's there.

These people are crooks. They charged me for services not rendered. When I contacted them with my concerns, they said they had a glitch in their system and would contact me when they could get it fixed. When my Mom passed, I went to the business office to settle up for what I guessed to be about $6K. The "business manager" agreed. I had paid what I thought it should be up until she passed. They are now pursuing me for $17,000!!!! They said my Mother's sisters authorized additional care. They were not authorized to authorize additional care, and are denying any such interaction. The morbidly obese former chef, now "business manager" can't even come up with their names. Attorneys are harrassing me and they are sending process servers to a more than 5 year old address as well as accusing me of not responding to their emails that they are sending to an email address that I have never used. They have my correct email address as well as my phone number. Their food is awful, and the current business manager, former "chef" can't even remember our conversations. My Mom became morbidly obese while living there. Every time I tried to join her for a meal it took close to an hour to get served and the food was mostly inedible, mostly due to over salting. Since high blood pressure is common in the elderly, how can they serve over salted food? Everything had way too much butter, too rich for me, I stopped eating there. Their business practices are extremely poor, and if they can find me and we do go to court, the judge will laugh at them and dismiss the case. I have everything documented. They are refusing to talk to me, to explain what is going on, saying to talk to their lawyers. They have sent me texts and emails to this effect while I am trying to resolve the issue without attorneys and court because the only winners in court are the attorneys and their billable hours. And they are in the "caring" business? Are these the kind of people you want caring for your loved ones?

We just toured Ivy at Cerritos with our parents and were so impressed with the personnel and facility! Olga was so attentive and caring through the whole process. She heard our concerns and helped us all feel comfortable. Our parents ultimately decided that they wanted to remain in their home and start with caregivers but as things change in the future Ivy at Cerritos is at the top of the list!

My mom moved into Ivy three months ago and I've already seen such a difference in her. She's doing exercise classes in the morning and finally eating three healthy meals a day. My husband and I eat there with her about once a week and the service is great. Martha the care director is amazing and so responsive whenever we have a question and great on advising us on her needs.

My Aunt has been living at Ivy Park at Cerritos for almost a year now and we could not be more grateful to the staff for taking such good care of her. We did a lot of research when we were looking for a retirement community for her and right away we were impressed with the warmth from the staff and how happy the residents there looked. Any time we have had a problem it gets fixed right away. My Aunt loves the food they serve in the dining room and that she has a menu to choose whatever she wants to eat. She has her group of friends there now where at home she was just by herself all day. They also have a nice big park where they have different bands that come and play.
