My Grandma lived here twice. The second time was for a short period before passing away. Cameo (HR/BOM) was so kind to help my 83 year old Grandpa get Medicaid set up for not only my Grandma but for himself. She continued to follow up on this even after my Grandma passed. The nursing department is phenomenal. They are so kind and quick to advocate for the residents and help loved ones as best as they can. The therapy department is truly top notch. They try to make therapy as fun as possible and always encourage the residents to try their best. Did I mention that outpatient therapy is available?

Careage Hills really goes above and beyond to care for their residents. Staff are friendly, food is delicious and activities are tailored to what the residents enjoy. They also have a beautiful aviary, large fish tank and staff bring their cats, dogs and bearded dragon for the residents to enjoy. Therapy does a great job and really keeps the residents mobile and prevents them from declining in function. I would highly recommend Careage Hills to anyone considering nursing home and rehab placement for their loved one.

If I could give 100 🌟 I would. This is one of the best places in the state, for senior care. The staff encompasses love, support, and attention to details not only for the residents but their families also. The environment is embracing, comfortable, it’s like being home for a family reunion. Thank you Careage Hills.

I had come from St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City, IA & was placed here. The food is advertised as you enter the cafeteria & made just before you come. Breakfast eggs are made when you get there, not kept on a steaming tray. The fact that I'd been in Omaha NE put me off my Medicaid, but the social services lady got me back on it. Therapy is fantastic there. They've just opened therapy for outpatients. Activities include coloring, things with yarn, painting with watercolors, weekly bingo, activities outside the facility- like going to the Cherokee Fair, driving just for fun, going to the Sanford planetarium, etc. & stopping for a soft drink or a pastry afterwards. The staff are enthusiastic and hardworking and fun.

A huge thank you to the staff that helps care for my Mom. I don't live close and when I call they always take time to walk the phone over to Mom's room. Sarah goes above and beyond taking care of not only Mom but also helps Dad with any issues that come up. She has accepted phone calls and text from me when I have concerns and arranged special meals for Mom & Dad.. Thank you everyone for all the hard work you do to keep our loved ones happy and healthy.
