I called this facility after seeing what appeared to be an elderly gentleman walking near a busy main road and was concerned for his safety. The response I received on the phone was disappointing. I felt interrupted and dismissed while trying to report what I had seen.<br><br>I sincerely hope the situation was already being addressed, but the interaction left me feeling that the concern was not taken seriously. Resident safety should always be treated with urgency and compassion.

Canterfield IL is truly our home, and everyone here is like extended family! From the MANY fun activities (thanks William and Patric!), the beautiful apartments, the kind and thoughtful staff, to the yummy meals from Chef Matt, this is a wonderful place to call home!
