This is more of a thank you to the team/staff at Broadway Villa than just a rating. I cannot express how grateful I am for the caregivers here. They have a hard enough job on any given day but here it doesn't seem to phase them as they have always, and I mean always, listened to us and even more importantly genuinely listened to the clients/patients here, specifically my aunt. Communication is always important and they never miss. Their response to almost any matter is with kindness, a professional and sincerely positive personal attitude in making this the best experience for who they are caring for. Thank you thank you thank you to each one of you. None of this is easy but knowing the staff at Broadway is there brings such peace of mind.

This place is horrible!! My sister arrived here from another facility that cared for her and her first day here I received numerous calls how she fell out of her bed. When I arrived to see her 2 days after her face was bruised badly very badly..I took photos I will not post. My heart is truly broken from this facility 💔 they neglect the patient im so sick to my stomach knowing this facility couldn't give my sister the care she needed before she died. 💔

⚠️ Warning to Families Considering Broadway Acute Center ⚠️ Placing my father at Broadway Acute Center was the worst decision I’ve ever made. My dad was transferred here directly from the ICU after suffering a fractured femur and severe anemia. He needed full‑time, attentive care. We were only given two hours to choose a facility. Out of five available beds, Broadway had the highest rating (4.5 stars) and beautiful photos online. I truly thought I was picking the best. The reality could not have been more different. On Thursday at 4:30 p.m., my father was transferred from the ICU in Fort Bragg to Broadway Acute Center, arriving at approximately 7:00 p.m. He had eaten lunch that day, was sitting up, talking, and alert. The next morning, Friday at 11:30 a.m., I arrived to help him settle in—only to find him completely paralyzed from a massive stroke—face, tongue, and body. He was lying on a bed lowered to the floor, still in yesterday’s clothes, no blanket, just two pillows. When I said, “He’s had a stroke,” the nurse actually asked me if I was sure. Staff told me he had “been like that all morning.” The last time anyone had checked on him was 7:00 a.m. Nearly 4.5 hours passed without vitals being taken, without calling for help. I was the one who triggered it all—vitals, oxygen, the 911 call, and the arrival of paramedics. Hospital records show he had slight facial droop the night before but nothing like what I found the next morning. Between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. he suffered a massive stroke unnoticed and untreated, losing the critical window for life‑saving intervention. He was rushed to the ER, where doctors confirmed a massive ischemic stroke beyond any intervention. He was moved to ICU, and then to Ukiah Acute Center the following day — which was night‑and‑day better in terms of compassion and care. My father never recovered. He could no longer eat, drink, or move, and he passed away 10 days later. Both paramedics and ER staff told me this facility should be reported for neglect and elder abuse. There is now an open investigation with the California Department of Public Health. Broadway’s website and reviews are misleading. In reality, the hallways were lined with residents in wheelchairs, many yelling or banging, and the atmosphere felt more like an overcrowded psychiatric ward than a skilled nursing facility. I feel duped and heartbroken that I chose this place for my dad. In my opinion, he was treated as just another Medicare headcount rather than a human being who needed care. If you are considering placing a loved one here, please think twice. The difference between Broadway and a truly caring facility like Ukiah Acute Center was 10000%. My father deserved better, and I don’t want another family to go through what we did. I 100% believe most of these reviews are fake, it just not alight with the place I walked into, and the experience I had. It does not add up.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care my grandfather received at Broadway Villa. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with warmth and compassion. The facility is clean, well-organized, and has plenty of amenities that made my grandfather’s stay comfortable. The nursing team is skilled and attentive. They provided personalized care and communicated with us regularly, ensuring we were always informed about my grandfather’s progress and needs. My grandfather especially loved the CNAs that took care of him and the therapy team that helped him get back on his feet. It’s clear that the staff genuinely cares about the residents and are doing their best to help the community. Thank you Broadway Villa.
