I can't even begin to tell you about this nursing home. The staff is great, the admin is nice. They helped me get my mother back home. And for that, they deserve all the praise and support. If you have folks here, they are in good hands.

After undergoing bladder cancer surgery, I needed two weeks of skilled nursing care, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than at Broadway Health Center in San Gabriel. From the moment I arrived, the entire team made me feel safe, supported, and truly cared for. I required 24-hour observation, regular ostomy bag changes, and consistent physical therapy, and every aspect of my care was handled with professionalism and compassion. The nurses were always attentive, and the care staff regularly checked in to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. A heartfelt thank you to Demi, Yesenia, and the entire nursing staff—you were incredible. Physical therapy was an essential part of my recovery, and I owe so much to French and Berenice, who pushed me in the best way possible. Thanks to their daily sessions and encouragement, I was up and walking in no time, steadily reaching all my rehab benchmarks. Their motivation and expertise made a huge difference in my progress. Broadway Health Center isn’t just a skilled nursing facility—it’s a place where people genuinely care. I’m so grateful for the extraordinary care I received during a very vulnerable time.

I am unable to fully express my deep gratitude and thanks to all of the wonderful staff at Broadway Healthcare Center for taking such great care of my mother last month. After my mother had been in and out of the hospital for a month, she was transferred to Broadway to recover and learn how to walk again. Everyone from the kitchen staff, the cleaning staff, the office staff, the CNA's, the LVN's, and RN's greeted my mother when they would see her and they all treated my mother with such respect and great care. Everyone took the time to listen and accommodate my mother's needs and well as my family's requests. We always felt heard. We always felt valued. We always felt welcomed. The PT/OT staff were warm and welcoming. They took the time to really work with my mother on the things that she needed and if we mentioned something new that she needed to work on, they accommodated immediately. They even worked on car transfers when they found out it was time to discharge my mother. I am forever grateful to everyone at Broadway for taking care of my mom and my family during this difficult time.

Broadway Healthcare Center team members are full of hardworking, dedicated and passionate professionals. They are attentive, caring and supportive to their patients. We couldn’t have been happier with their services and upkeep to the center. While visiting my father, I constantly see their cleaning, water/food service crew, nurses, Physical Therapists (Bernice and Jed), administrative team(Rudy & Rithy) and Social services(Pia) are always moving about with cheerful smiles. As tired and exhausted they looked, they always responded to us with pleasantness and cheerful smiles. At times, I wished I can just give them hugs and tell them that they are doing a great job! My sister and I appreciate them going to extra miles to keep my father well and back to his health. We want to thank Rithy, Rudy, Vic and Pia V, SSD who went above and beyond to make the transition of our father’s discharged a smooth one. Pia, we appreciate your efforts in setting up appointments for us to ensure our father has the appropriate home care and services when he returned home. You have no ideas how helpful and convenient this has helped us who are not familiar with the process. Again thank you all very much from the bottom of our hearts. Although we do not want to see you any time soon but if we need to, we will definitely go back to Broadway Healthcare Center.

They could have put more attention to my mom lungs when she said she couldn't breath, when i described them how she felt, she felt like drowning. When she was taken to the emergency room, she had lung edema..then passed away a couple of days later. Also they knew my mom has water build up from her heart problem cause the first time she was admitted my mom was all swollen and they gave her water pill to flush it, which help her. They should have advise us of a less consumption of fluids so that it would not happen again. Also as soonest they saw the symptom again, such as the swollen feet and legs, shouldl immediately know it was the water build up on my mom's body again. I'm learning all of this now through researching.. My mom had the symptoms of the after edema. 1. Feeling restless and that something bad would happen. 2. Short of breaths while walking or lying flat. All of these plus dealing with the death of my dad, which was 2 days after she was released from the hospital. Her primary doctor, Dr. Chen doesn't do visit to his patients at nursing homes, why?, he is getting paid to see and care for patients!! If you could have your parents at home is the best!!. The warmth and love of family is unreplaceable. Also, nurses at nursing homes don't have the medical knowledge they should. I called during weekends during the day no one ever answer, night time, sometimes. Administration said that they don't have a receptionist, I said I'm not asking for a receptionist, just anyone to answer. I needed this cause my mom will call me for something she needs cause of the language barrier. The Administration would not understand, then he would go on saying that they will take care of things and that they will call me. They will call u, yes, when it is too late. When there is a death. All doctors are not to save lives only the ones in ER. They are all to enrich the pharmaceutical companies and themselves.all these doctors should give the medication they give to the patients to their own mothers, so they can see them died from it. Stagec4th kidney is reversible..baking soda will help for that..as I researched it. Drs know it. For Diabetes it is the worse place the food is pure carbohydrates and sweet. My mom Diabetes got worse making her 4th stage kidney to almost dyalisis when she died, I told them about the food, but they did not make any changes.
