Bristol Manor

Bristol Manor of Macon is a residential care community in Macon, Missouri, serving seniors who need assistance with daily living but do not require skilled nursing care. The community provides personal care services including meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry services, medication administration by certified staff 24 hours a day, and activities in a comfortable, homelike environment where residents can maintain their independence.

The community accommodates up to 12 residents, creating an intimate setting where staff and neighbors know each other well. Each resident has their own private room with a private bathroom including a step-in shower, individual heat and air conditioning controls, and a somewhat non-restrictive environment. Many residents continue to drive their own vehicles and hold jobs while receiving support and assistance as needed.

Bristol Manor of Macon is operated by Bristol Care, Inc., a Missouri-based, family-owned provider that has operated over 60 facilities throughout Missouri since 1990. The communities maintain similar layouts and operations to provide continuity of services across all locations.

The community requires no long-term lease or commitment and operates on a month-to-month rental agreement, allowing flexibility for those needing temporary care during recovery from illness or injury, seasonal needs, or those still deciding on permanent placement. Residents are welcome to share a meal or attend an activity before deciding to move in.

Bristol Manor participates in the Medicaid Assistance program, accepts VA Assistance Programs, and most private insurances. All services are offered for one monthly fee, making care available to those with limited incomes.
