Bristol Manor of California is a residential care community in California, Missouri, offering personal care services for seniors who need assistance with daily living but do not require skilled nursing care. The community provides meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry services, activities, and 24-hour medication administration by certified staff in a homelike environment designed to support residents' independence.

Admission to the community is available to seniors with care needs that fall between living independently at home and requiring a skilled nursing facility. Residents must be able to mentally and physically navigate to safety in an emergency. The community accommodates up to 12 residents, creating an intimate setting where staff and neighbors know each other personally. Each resident has a private room with a private bathroom including a step-in shower, and individual controls for heating and air conditioning.

Bristol Manor offers flexible living arrangements with month-to-month rental agreements and no long-term lease requirement, allowing residents to try the services before making a permanent commitment. The community welcomes both permanent residents and those recovering from illness or injury, as well as those needing seasonal care during cold months. Many residents maintain their independence by driving their own vehicles or holding jobs while receiving assistance with medications, medical monitoring, meals, and daily tasks.

Bristol Manor participates in the Medicaid Assistance program and accepts VA Assistance Programs and most private insurance plans, with all services available for a single monthly fee. Prospective residents are welcome to visit the community, share a meal, or attend an activity before deciding.
