We are sooo pleased with the care and attention being given to dad/father-in-law! Being in the Lighthouse unit is the answer to our prayers, we can sleep at night once again. His meals are top notch, he baths daily, and he gets clean linens daily and doesn't miss a dose of his scheduled med👏! Thanks to the whole staff and a special shout out to Kelly on the administrative team. Oh yeah Kelly, we'll take an order of snap beans, LOL 😆!

I would not say this is a very good place. My mother's needs were i ignored. She went in walking fine about 2 weeks after they said she fell. Her injuries did not look like they were from a fall. Busted lip and black eye is very hard to believe that was from her falling. I talked to 3 different staff members and all give a different story about how my mother fell. But yet a few months later they reported her that she fell again and she didn't have one scratch on her. Every time I would go see her, they Would have her setting In a chair at the table overmedicated with Ensure all over her shirt because she was so overmedicated she couldn't pick it up but yet no one would help her either every time I went to go see my mother she was over medicated she was in it it's like she was looking right through you. There was once where I went there she had they had her in a wheelchair she was knocked out in the wheelchair with her head hanging down and I tried to get my mother out of the wheelchair for 4 hours no one would come and help me my mother was in the wheelchair for 6 hours with her head down over medicated and yet nobody would help me get her out I end up having to call my brother to get him to take off work to come and help me. There was another time my mother was sitting at the table and when I got there she was so thirsty she was trying to dye her face into the cup and so I gave her as much food as I could I went and talked to the nurse and she's like yes your mother is too weak to pick up a cup she can barely pick up a pill cup with that being said with her knowing that and why wasn't she helping her. Eyewitnessed staff on personal calls for over 30 minutes I wouldn't miss staff sleeping on two different occasions my sister was with me on one occasion. Eyewitness staff in a corner playing on their phone. One evening I went and my brother was there and my mother had high fever she had like 70% something oxygen and she had a UTI and ended up in the ICU. Every time they would give her food they would just throw it on the tray or on the table and just leave it there not trying to assist her to eat or drink knowing that she was too weak. The staff is very very fake they are not there for the patients they're there for the money. They don't care for their patients. And I would witnessed how rude and impatient they were with the other patients as well. My mother weighed 150 when ate went there and passed away barely weighing 100. And this was in a 6 months time. I'm doing this review because don't want anyone else's mother or father to go through what my mother did. I believe with my heart and soul that my mother would have been with us longer, if she would have had better care. My mother suffered being there until she passed. Don't let happen to your love one. I should had some more time with my mother if she would have the care that they are suppose to have been giving her. The only thing you are sorry for is that your staff got caught doing things they should not have been doing! You have the worse staff i have ever seen. They made my mom suffer by not caring for her. Not even trying to help her to take a drink after your staff admitting to me that my mother was too weak to pick up a paper pill cup.but yet your staff would not get off her big butt and help my mother to drink or eat. And if they were that bad to her when i was there i just don't want to imagine how she was treated when i wasnt there. Your place needs to be shut down! To every one if you want good care for your loved one DO NOT TAKE THEM TO THIS PLACE. My mother left this world to early from being in care of this place. They will give you all kinds of excuses why your loved one isn't doing as good as you thought they would be. Run run from this place. My mother was neglected and abused by these awful people.

This facility is rated very low and there are reasons for it. They overdose their patients, they are not feeding them nutrients and if they cannot feed themselves they don’t get feed, the staff sleep while on the clock. (I have visually seen them), they ignore concerns from family members and they do not address medical concerns. No one should ever ever let their family member be subjected to this place. It’s horrible! My mother came in looking healthy and within 6 months she was dead. Do not allow this to happen to your mother.

I have a family member who spent some time at Brentwood. I was impressed with how kind and attentive the staff were to my loved one. The facility always seemed very clean, and I never heard complaints about their food. The administrator seemed very hands-on and attentive to the residents. I would highly recommend it if your loved one needs assisted care.
